I’ll be traveling overseas with my mom for a couple weeks starting next week - more details on that to come when it’s time.

My mom has done a lot of stuff, don’t feel comfortable going in too much detail. She started meditating regularly before me though.

As for the Vipassana, we’ll be going for a retreat in September. I’m not sure how big of a role Vipassana will play, but the meditation in general will certainly be intensive

+1055 in 4:40 to end the trip.

Left Vegas at 3-4 am, back home now.

Here are my live results for June so far. Two of these sessions are from LA, the rest from Vegas. More fleshed out recap, reflection etc to follow in the coming days.

Actually, 2. e5 is the main line of Alekhine's Defense, which starts with 1....Nf6. Black immediately concedes the center and plans on laying siege to it later. It's a valid and at one time, very popular opening.

If White doesn't play 2. e5, Black has essentially bluffed White.

Session #23 in a row of documenting my live sessions itf.

For transparency, I typically round my live results to the nearest $5 and session times to the nearest 5 mins.

Results are w/e - but one of those days where it felt like I lost almost every pot in both rooms

Mostly just a ton of folding + winning a couple mid sized pots to limit the damage, in reality.

Spoiler:
Session #23: -$240

Session Length: 5:10

Session 1-23: 139:55 hours, +$12,020

Meaningless Win-rate: $86/hour

RtP, some feedback on these session posts. It's not necessary to provide links to all the previous posts. That's just pages of clutter.

At most, a link to the previous post. Any interested reader can chain through them from that.

Their brevity

Seriously, though, literally no one but you is gonna care about all those stats. They're just white noise anyway, without context.

I think if you want audience appeal, you should relate your experiences rather than the intricate calculations that led you to report an earn of $45.0356 an hour (after adjusting for a grand total of 5.659 hours of bathroom breaks). After all, this particular forum is about Vegas and what happens/happened there, not a detailed deconstruction of results.

As to what I find enjoyable about them...pictures of nachos. Seriously, keep the food porn coming.

Oh, and if you post a picture of the end of a hand, it would be nice if you provided a line or two of written context ('dumbass called with third pair and got there on the river...").
