Ah okay, gotcha sir!

GSW/BOS will be a much better series than what Miami/BOS would've been so I'm happy about that from a general NBA fan perspective. Miami is definitely one star player away and I don't think Herro will improve into what they need by next season. So they should certainly look to sell high on him and get that STAR! (DMitch, preferably and if not possible then DAME). I feel Warriors -165 is about right.. maybe they should even be -175. Celtics (outside of the Nets series, who were a complete mess themselves) have without a doubt been pretty sloppy at times and the Warriors can really take advantage of that (as long as they aren't being sloppy themselves with too many turnovers).
In the end the experience of Steph/Klay/Draymond may be the deciding factor. I had futures on both BOS/GSW so I'm locked into a win. I hedged just a bit to the GSW side with pretty decent confidence. (NON-JINX!)
I can appreciate that you posted this take before Game 1. Well said, sir!
Boston’s physicality is underrated IMO and may pose problems for Golden State in an environment where the refs tend to take a back seat.
Congrats on the wager.

I'm not sure if Fabi can fire on all cylinders again to win the Candidates a second time. I wouldn't bet on him if given the choice. I have Alireza and Ding with both having pretty good chances to come out on top with Duda being the dark horse if he gets hot, i.e. winning a couple games early.
I'm rooting for Alireza to win the event. I absolutely love his attitude, he's so genuinely chill and humble which is rare of a strong chess player, let alone one of the best in the world. As they say.. Alireza is the future.
Well said; thanks for sharing your insight, Mr McMuffin!
With four consecutive candidates' appearances and a victory in this event, I think that additional experience could help Fabi considerably.
Hard to gameplan mentally when you’ve never been there before (Alireza)!
