Or play in a place like the Orleans, where the players are so aware of the jackpot, they know better than to screw it up or talk much about it.

This is basically how it goes for me in LA:

Moron: "Do you chop?"

Me: "Whatever you want to do, as long as it's the same every time."

Moron: "Well, I'll chop as long as I don't have a jackpot hand."

Me: "So you'll only chop with 32 off?"

Moron: "No, a jackpot hand."

Me: "You can make a jackpot with any hand but 32o."

Moron: "But some hands are easier to hit jackpots with than others."

And then I shoot myself because I'm dealing with a fool who would prefer to pay $7 to check down that AJo in the .0000000000000000000000001 shot at hitting the jackpot.

Mentions Red Rock. An online $1MM BBJ and two players were sitting out of the hand. Good lesson not to sit out of a hand.

Delayed. Longest one-hand in history.

The guy who flipped it over withdrew his complaint. Odd.

From the NVG thread on this subject:

How can they not make a ruling on a single hand in 7 months?!

Investigator needs more time? For what? He has the video for Christ’s sake.

You have complex murder cases that take less time. He said he needs to review rules. What has he been doing this entire time?!

There isn’t even a new hearing scheduled. Welcome to Slowdown Lane...

Well they are paying now.

Glad to see this. Casinos have to be put on notice that if you take the players money you have to pay it out.

Would be an FU to villain if they can take away his share from the BBJ.

Quote:
Schreter would have been expected to receive a payment equal to half of that amount for his winning hand, while 80 or so others taking part in the promotion at the time would have been looking forward to several hundred dollars each, those at the ‘winning’ table in the Red Rock generally receiving more than those present at other tables in the participating Station Casinos, however no details of payouts to other players have been disclosed
