Are you only interested in isolate? Planet 1 sells high CBD flower, so does Apothecarium as well. Some of those strains are 2:1 or above for CBD:THC.

Cost of living for visitors staying on the strip is extremely high. If you live here full time and don’t get everything on the strip then yes the cost of living is good.

I'll plead ignorance, as a senior, local you can get a break on prices here. Add in the convenience factor, and the generally lower cost of living, and this is still a bargain.

Anyone know if there is price competition at the CalNeva border, in Tahoe or Stateline ? How about that liquor/lottery store in Primm ?

99% sure weed is not legal on the california side of primm. someone would have opened a dispensary there to serve las vegas a long time ago. i think the county banned it.

Just like Cannabiotix, you can't go wrong with anything by Polaris. Birthday Cake is their most rare strain. If you find it on the shelves, purchase as much as they will let you.

If you can't find any Cannabiotix or Polaris, Matrix is a good backup. If you can't find any of those three, head over to Planet 13 and get some Medizin flower. Million Dollar Baby, Mango Kush, and Banana OG all big winners from there.

Was in town two weeks ago. Tried out The Dispensary off Flamingo on Decatur. Only bought cartridges so can't speak to anything else. Will not be hitting any other dispensaries on trips now. I really liked the staff and all that at The Dispensary. Got some provisions carts that I was/am really happy with as well.

Have been the The Apothecarium, Apothecary Shoppe, Essence on Tropicana and Planet 13. Apothecary Shoppe and The Apothecarium are way too much money. Planet 13 is pretty cool to see but I didn't think their prices were anything as good others had said before I went there.

Still want to go to Acres on a Farmer's Market day, but that will happen once when the wife is looking for something different to do.

What cartridges did you get?? Best cartridge you tried from there?? Coming at the first of June and that will be my first stop.

We went to The Dispensary as well (only place to find some good quality CBD weed in town) and it was nice. Bought some 2:1 CBD/THC flower and a 40% vape pen.

My only issue is that the flower was a bit old, but I guess it is expected as the market for high CBD strains isnt too big.

Do you know the name of some of the high CBD strains you tried? I need something that has a decent THC content as well as CBD.

The flower I bought was very weak, over the years I have become pretty sensitive to THC, it was something like 6% THC and 11.5% CBD. Still did the trick for me tho. My friend bought a vape pen, indica if I remember correctly, which had 40-40% THC:CBD ratio. They have a lot of those so would definitely give it a try. Can't remember the name of it tho unfortunately.

I'm not sure you will find any flower in Vegas that has a high THC and CBD ratio unfortunately.

What are the top 3 best places for edibles and vape carts?

Dispensaries cycle product 2-3 times a week so that's an answer that's always changing. Weed maps and Where's Weed apps/websites are rock solid for deals/pricing/reviews.

Going to be heading back to Vegas for the summer. Are there any places I should check out or make sure to avoid? Best brand names to be looking for in the stores?

I always use weed maps...I was looking for your opinion on the best two shops overall for edibles and vape carts.

I have never been to a state where weed is legal, but I'm heading there now. I'm an old nit who hasn't smoked in ~15 yrs - I used to buy dime bags (do ppl even use that term anymore?), and I don't know anything about strains (except good strain man lol) or flavors. I'm mainly wondering what THC % is "average"?

Also, I assume it would be ok to drive with it to Utah (they won't have a trap with helicopters would they lol)? What about flying with it, or is that pushing it too far? I'd love to take some home with me. Thoughts/experiences?

Just my opinion,
10-15% THC would maybe be considered a beginner strain
15-25% for experienced users
25%+ would be considered high THC

I wouldn't risk driving to Utah with it. Utah is a Mormon state, I don't think they take too kindly to the vices we have in Nevada. Not sure about any helicopter traps or what that's all about.

I think even considering flying internationally with it is insane. I have no idea how strict Australia is when it comes to weed, however. If you have a ton of money, a good lawyer, and don't mind jail, then go for it. Beware of bad advice telling you to fly back with a vape pen or edibles. People act like customs and police don't know what a vape pen or edibles are, don't listen to them. It's their job to know current trends and methods of transporting drugs, and they have machines that can easily analyze your cargo.

The best way to judge weed is to smell it. The more pungent it smells it is going to be more potent. Also good weed is going to be sticky to the touch, not dry.

It always better to buy a lesser quantity of the best weed than a larger quantity of ordinary weed. You will smoke less and get a better reaction.

Given the following..

1. I know absolutely nothing about weed
2. I've smoked it a few times in my life, the last time was in college, where I started hallucinating and got really bad anxiety. It was an awful experience.
3. I'm interested in trying it again

My number one priority is not how high I get but rather avoiding the bad experience I had. I want something very light to start. I also want to be able to function strongly..just looking for something to help me chill out and relax.

You should not go with edibles then. Thats long lasting and can get quite heavy. Smoke a pre-roll joint imo.

I'd go disposable vape pen with some soccer mom grade cartridge, like 25-35% and call it a day. The best part is you don't reek.
