When will tables in Vegas casinos be nine handed and without plexiglass and masks. Are there any casinos that have these conditions now?

A few factors:

1. herd immunity

2. Clark Co. Health department

3. Clarity on legal immunity for CET.

4. personal behavior (some players may choose to wear a mask indefinitely)

To believe the world will revert back to exactly the way it was is probably a tad naïve.

I’ll be wearing a mask every time I play poker now. Using more hand sanitizer, too. We’re going to be a changed society after this. Similar to how so many people began reusing, saving, and repurposing things after The Great Depression. Our grandchildren may laugh at how “paranoid” we are about disease and they’ll roll their eyes whenever we tell them about the pandemic of 2020.

I wish we could keep the plexi-glass over the masks. I wear one, but I hate it, and I love chatting at the tables -- it's part of the fun of poker for me.

There are really good air filtration/cleaning systems on the market that kill a huge percentage of viruses, bacteria, etc., including corona. I wish more companies were moving in that direction.

Whoever first guesses closest to the actual date and time will receive a prize of $50 worth of BTC , for themself or to be donated to their designated favorite charity. (Only one winner, to be determined by me, in my sole and absolute discretion. Entries must post pick of date and time in this thread, one entry per screen name. Free to enter.)

Criteria, all of which must be met concurrently in one Nevada-licensed live poker operation, to fix the winning date:

1. No plexiglass at the table (last time I played there GN did not have glass , masks were required, and was 5 handed, no idea of current status)
2. No mask required under State law or regulations for live poker playing by the general public at Nevada licensed casinos
3. Live poker is again dealt to the public for play at tables of 8 or more players in a Nevada-licensed poker operation. (A special event, staged for a tournament, like a WSOP Final table, does not qualify.)

Have at it ....

6-8 handed games (depending on where you're playing) is a silver lining to covid.

I can hear the whining from 2,000 miles away every time someone goes to pee.

The 12th of never.

"No mask required under State law or regulations for live poker"? Aren't the current "rules" just by executive order? That's not law or regulation.

November 2019 was my last trip to Vegas. Mostly I just played poker. I went to the gym and driving range, but aside from eating and sleeping it was at least 12 hr /day poker for 6 days. I saw some people wearing masks back then. I think they were all Asian. I play 1-2, 1-3, and 2-5. Although I like to play shorthanded, I am not interested in playing shorthanded against a table of regulars. I admit it, I'm not good enough. And the post above about crying when people take a break rings a bell. Even at full tables it is common for 3 chairs or more to be vacant because of people taking a long break.

BTW, I got a bad cold on that last trip. First one I had had in years and I haven't had one since.

Check Bravo right now. There are some long waitlists, so it doesn't look like it's just all regs any more.
