Hello everyone!

My name is Steve and I'm looking around for a 1 month lease to go play some Venetian tournaments this summer. Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as I'm struggling to find any. Specifications would only be a 1 bedroom or studio, and also looking to be in a safe area (strip or safe neighborhood).

Probably cheaper to get a hotel room with promo rates. Especially if you have any play. Only reason for an apartment is to be off strip in a decent area and have more space with a kitchen.

People aren't going to like it, but when I first came out to Vegas I stayed at one of the Budget Suites on west tropicana close to the Orleans. They are one of those "extended stay" type places where you can pay week to week or month to month.

It's nothing fancy, but I never had any problems with it, it was a tiny 1 bedroom apartment, had everything I needed to get the lay of the land until I found a real place. I would avoid the segal suites, and other named chain ones, but what can I say, I had no problems with budget suites for the 2 months or so I needed to stay there.

Also those 2 west trop ones are like 2 minutes away from the Orleans which is a great poker room, and like 5 mins to the strip, so good access points.

Same here. Stayed at the one on Tropicana & Wynn Rd for almost two months until I got a job and an apartment.

I tried a few different Siegel locations when I was in Vegas applying for jobs a few months ago. The cheaper locations tended to have a lot more trash coming through (drunk/high people arguing daily, police responding to domestic violence calls every weekend, etc.). At the higher priced locations some of those people got priced out, but not always so, especially when the stimulus checks were coming out. Other than that the units were clean, had regular pest control, and most of the staff were helpful.

I have a place in my house. It's a completely separate studio apartment. Has its own separate entrance.
If you look up Lennar homes, it's called a NextGen.
Own bedroom, bathroom, washer dryer, living room and kitchen.
I'm about 20 minutes from Venetian in Henderson.
We usually airbnb it for 30 days for 1800, but I'd do 1100 for a 2+2er on a short stay.

FYI Downtown grand is $20+$10 weekday and $50+$10 weekend if you have a players card. Never stayed there. Heard its loud(from live music), but its gotta be better than siegel suites.

I'm sorry for the late response! Thank you all for the assistance. I'm reaching out to Katana1979 and crossing my fingers we get a deal!! Would have to rent a car but hey, the research I did shows Henderson to be very safe! If it doesn't work out, I will definitely look into all the recommendations given. I thank you all for the help and wish you all some "run good" at the tables!!!
