If you bring 3 friends they can get a 4-handed game going.

On a non-WSOP/Super Bowl weekend, I haven't seen a LHE game of any size running in years. The biggest 3/6 list I've ever seen had 1 name on it. But they will deal whatever game they have the players for.

I would suggest making an announcement either here or in B&M like the guy did for the Luxor mixed game. With a date, time, and place people can plan for it. Include your twitter so you can keep people updated, and in case you wnat to get an impromptu game going.

Has the 3/6 limit game been going? With effort is 60 hours possible?

Anything is possible. It's also possible to cut your legs with a razor for 60hrs straight and survive, might be a better option.

Actually, that one is probably not possible.

So how is this rake back deal looking these days? Is the room still empty?

I stayed there over the weekend. I didn't play cash, only the dailies, but as far I saw there was only ever one table of cash running (1/3) with half OMC and half earbud/water guys.

Yes that's what going on at the moment

If 4 players are present, you have to start the game and play to continue collecting hours.

Until then it's a total freeroll

It's not exactly $10/hr- you only get the max hourly rate if you complete 60 hours in the week

50 hours is $450, 40 hrs is $325...

With $2/hr comps the whole time

ETA: game started 5 handed, warm bodies welcome

What exactly is the rake structure?

My game is 1/3 w 300 max buy in and 10% to $7+$1 at $20 for the promo.

I read at Commerce they take the first $1 preflop, omg!

Not so bad until the nitty games cause most of the pots to be 20ish dollars and $4 gets dropped repeatedly and all of the $100 stacks evaporate off of the table.

Do you get the hourly deal if you check in and have to wait for a seat where there is only 1 game running?

No you don't get credit for time while waiting for a seat in a game

Just finished this grind for the first time. Started Sunday and finished up the 60 hours on Thursday morning.

The morning games probably have to be one of the worst games 1/2 or 1/3 games on the strip. Very nitty and tight and 9 or 10 players are all there to grind hours. Everyone is very open at the table about being in a terrible game. But the players are very friendly and there was good banter and atmosphere in my opinion. Game usually seemed to get better during the night time when most of the regs dropped out and random tourists and recs would walk in looking to play some poker.

A tight solid reg who's willing to adjust slightly to steal the blinds more frequently in certain spots preflop, and who's able to make big plays at pots vs capped ranges and certain players (i.e. overbets) should do fine in this game. Yes the games were pretty bad but still feels beatable. Hourly rate including the get paid to play promo might still not be as good as finding a juicy game at planet hollywood or something though. The noon - evening hours grind might not be worth the hours. Optimal strategy for a TI reg might be to not go for the 60 hours but go for something less while putting volume in at night times. The place next to poker room has the best french fries ever, I'll give them that.
