Gotcha, good to know. We'd seen some pics and videos posted online that definitely looked like amateurs but the show we saw was quite the opposite. Now it makes me wonder if we caught the rare "staged" show or if it's common. Guess we will have to go watch again next year when we are in town.

LHE always runs at the Orleans. 3/6 actually ran at Caesars today almost all day long. It goes to show that if you build it (a game) they will come.

Also, if you get a game going at Caesars the max rake is $3 and no jackpot drop. Once you get it on Bravo, the players will come.

Is the Euro poker room at TI this month worth a visit? Is the rakeback deal still going on?

I thought I saw a 1-2 mix game at the TI on the bravo app a few days back. If TI can get a 4-8 game going, I will call it home for 60hrs and then some.

I walked in there today to use some of my $150 in comps I still have left. There was one 1/3 game going and six players had less than $100 so I left. They play 10 handed and the table is too small so you have no room if your in seats 4-7.

You'll have better luck if you start it yourself. Then it shows on Bravo. I saw a 3/6 run at Caesars all day long with a full table last week. It just takes getting started sometimes.

They have tried to get a limit game going just cant find enough people to play it consistently....They had 2/6 spread for a while..even a 3/6 that ran for about a week....its like the only players that will show up everyday are the N/L players...One of the TI dealers plays 2/6 at Sams Town and he said they will run any game that they have the players for.

I saw the other night there was a couple games going and a huge interest board with 10+ games ranging from 2/5-10/15 NL PLO etc. I'm pretty sure they even had some random 5/10/20NL game going or something if I remember right.

Saw a $50-100 game running there last night until 8am. Not going now.

The euro guy they brought in for the soccer thing is acting as host. He leaves when the Series is over. Hopefully they'll recognize the value of having a host and find a local guy to act as one.

What are the responsibilities of a host? Does he just get games going like a prop player?

Typically a prop player is just put into any game to fill it up. A host is for one particular game and recruits people to play in it. He may play as well, but not necessarily.

Yeah, generally they get the people together to play at a certain time. The idea is that once it gets noticed on Bravo, the game becomes self-sustaining and eventually widens the days and hours that it runs.

Limon the host of the uncapped games at The Bicycle casino is an amazing host. What a great job he has done with the PLO game there

Treasure Island Poker room! The place where players at the final table of nightly tournaments act like a tourist throughout, get knocked out, "Clark Kent - Superman" in a closet, and proceed to sit down and deal that very tournament.

What a shady, shady room that was the 2-3 times I played there.

What did management have to say? It seems to be a big conflict of interest for the casino's dealers to play in their own room. Some dealers peek at players' mucked cards for future intel, and I would not want these work buddies to be dealing to each other.

They're called props and it is common in Vegas and other places to build and start tables with props. It's generally not seen as a poker is rigged thing by most players so unless you detect cheating I doubt it's an issue.

TI dealers have been playing in their tournaments for many years. No big deal. Dealers, floor, and props play in cash and tournaments in my local Cali room and never heard of a problem.

I don't think they have any real "props" in Las Vegas, at least I have never heard of them. They just allow dealers to play when they're off work or on break, and in the smaller rooms they probably encourage them to help keep the games going. The only place I have seen people hired as props is in California, and they never deal.

I thought some place in Vegas used to have them years ago, but haven't for a long time. I could be wrong, but I haven't heard of any in Vegas since I have been on 2+2. If there are any, I would be curious to hear about it; I might even want to try to get the job!

I've had dealers peek at my mucked cards before too. Is this something that is against the rules? In addition to being really annoying and unprofessional, the dealer is potentially letting other people see the cards too when he peeks at it.
