This thread predictably went to hell in a handbasket, but i want to say to suited that I think your OP was well written and (in theory) could have led to a reasonable and even non-partisan discussion.

Then the internet happened.

Tucker Carlson tonight at approximately 20 seconds into his show insinuating all the FBI is doing right now is searching for Russian facebook trolls. This was in regards to the FBI uncovering the pay to enter college scam. Now this isnt exactly a lie as I am sure there are FBI agents helping to protect our country from Russian propaganda. But, as any person with common sense would guess, The FBI is doing more than that. Meanwhile, who is protecting us from propaganda that Tucker was spewing only 20 seconds into his show? Those little soundbites like that...where do you think all those 75 year old men sitting around at McDonald's in the morning drinking coffee huddled together talking politics....where do you think they get ideas like these implanted into their brains?

Now if that is not satisfactory, I guess I will take the time and listen to more than 20 seconds of Tucker's show. And yes, I know Tucker isnt a news anchor. But I do believe he has the 2nd highest rated segment in 24 hours of FOX. So if Tucker doesnt qualify, I guess I can go in and listen to some Steve Doocy. If that's not good enough as I realize Doocy is on a popular morning broadcast, I will go in and listen to one of the news anchors make their usual off the cuff lies. So just let me know what is good for you and, if necessary, I'll spend more than 20 seconds doing research.

What is really up for debate here? A bar, or any other place that has TV stations placed within their establishment, can set the TV stations to their choosing. If there is something particular on TV that a patron wants to watch and the bar refuses to change the channel, your only recourse is to take your business elsewhere.
