Busted tournament in LOL ways after that LOL 3 way all in where we all had AK suited.
Played some 2/5 in Paris. Was meh but I mad one dumb call and missed a final bet (which probably would have left me even here.
Degened a double at craps before dinner with TJ.
Got slowrolled on a 92ATK board when I have T9 and dude looks at the board THREE times before rolling over AK.
Degened some craps winnings back at craps.
Then lost 8 consecutive blackjack hands.

I think we are full on degenning even though we're not down that much.

I had AK seven times and could do no better than a 3 way chop with any of them.

Not bad to be down that small amount considering you have been doing some degening. Nice!

My detilt game from poker is blackjack. If tilt have been building up over a few sessions in poker,i desteam with some blackjack. Just small amounts like couple of hundo,but it usually gets the job done.

I am now officially a video poker pro.

Day 3 recap:

Vegas is BUCK WILD yo. The swings here are just something else.

That $800 at Aria - yeah, didn't happen. (They got 456 runners, $47k up top, 223k prize pool - not bad for a $75k guarantee)

Started the day back a Bellagio. Fired another $70 at VGK on the -140 moneyline (WIN).
Got into a 1/3 game at noon. Played 3 hours (should have played zero, the game was so miserably down bad), lost 190 most of it with KK as AJ all in on a J83 flop. Turn and river are (of course) both Aces. We did pay homage to the Godfather by bluffing an OMC with T2 on a J75 board and showed it because Doyle.
Grabbed an Uber to Resorts World, mainly because it is a nice room, the scenery is A+, and the waitlists there were 15 or less when Wynn, Bellagio, Aria were ALL 50+ about an hour before puck drop.
Played 1/3 for 90 minutes and got coolered when my AK couldn't beat KK on a AK43x board. LOL Ace-King. My bust hand happened maybe 10 minutes after TJ lost 1K in the 2/5 and had to reload after getting dinner.

We are 0-for-4 in cash games and 0-for-1 in tournaments.

By this time I've had AK maybe 15 times and won NONE of them. AK can eat a satchel filled with flaccid penises.

Dinner time. Sat at the bar in the sportsbook, had a really good club sandwich and fries (gourmet food can be found in other TRs) and donked off $80 on video poker at the bar. We are down almost exactly $1.5k to the dollar at this moment. While having dinner, I started to read the latest update to legendary poster Leon's thread. He plays high limit video poker at Wynn and is a super high roller, and all his stuff is required reading. Very cool stuff.

THIS is where the story takes a turn.

I take a walk feeling really shitty about my game, just to clear my head and check out the scenery.

Then I see a machine that looks familiar from Leon’s threads: Ultimate X Poker Bonus Streak. These machines run hot and cold, and can be super swingy.

What the hell, we're stuck 1.5k, we have only 1 full day left. LFG. Throw a hundo in the machine. We're playing 10 hands, 10 cent units, 10 units per hand. so $10 a twirl. We break even for a bit, slide down to about $40 left, and we hit a 5 Jacks (deuces are wild here) with a 4x for $40 bringing us back to even.

THE VERY NEXT SPIN, we have two 12x multipliers and five 2x's out of 10 hands. And we get dealt THREE deuces. So now we want the case deuce everywhere, which is a hundo times whatever multiplier is on that hand. We DO get a case deuce, but only on a 2x (good for $200). One of the 12x’s draws AA, which ends up being a $480 hit. Net result on that spin is $726! We spin out the remaining multipliers and cash out $903.

SO, uh somehow, we’re UP today? For real?

OK fine, let’s play… craps! Table is cold as ice and it’s a quick -285, but the Knights are winning big by this point, so we’ll have to go back to where we started the day to cash in the sports bets.
Take another walk and I find my way back to the same bank of machines I was just on. I sit at the one next to one I just won on and turn $100 into $416 – nothing super exciting, but I’m just laughing now because this is just ridiculous. I wander back to the poker room, check in with TJ who is getting some of that first 1K back, then head out for an Uber to go back to Bellagio.
Public Service Announcement: Strip traffic sucks right now more than ever. All this paving they’re doing for the F1 even in November is turning anything within 6-8 blocks of the strip into a damn nightmare. Prepare for delays.

Get an Uber back to Bellagio, claim my winnings and grab the tram to Aria.

I go down the escalator, thinking there’s probably 20-ish on the waitlist for 1/3, because that’s what Bravo is saying. There are 54. Put my name on it anyway, assume it’s going to be an hour minimum, and take a walk. I eventually wander my way over to the craps tables. We hit a few hard ways for good money and pocket another $330 profit.
Walk back over to the poker room, and I missed my call. I put my name back on the list (now about 25 deep), and stay within 25 feet of the room, because I don’t want to be a dick a miss another 1/3 call.

Well, about 12 feet from the entrance to the poker room is another one of those Ultimate X machines. These are the 25 cent version ($25 a twirl), so we throw another hundo in this machine and ride the bull while we wait for the 1/3 call. Kinda tread water for a bit and then we find ourselves in a spot with two 12x’s, a 4x, and two 2x’s. And lo and behold, we get dealt THREE DEUCES
AGAIN. OK, one time!

We don’t get much on the 12’s, but we get the case deuce on a 2x AND a 4x!

Hey, that’s HANDPAY MUSIC!!! A $1,662.50 hit on a $25 spin!

This my first ever handpay… so we didn’t get a tourney cash, but this will certainly make up for it!

Aria held back $499 for Uncle Sam, so the real hand pay was $1,164.

We do take the second call into Aria 1/3 game, at a brand new game at Table 16, win a measly $95, BUT we are now 1-for-5.
Head back to Park MGM, laughing to myself because tonight is just insane.
