The first floor had a Dennys, registration desk and slot machines. There is (was) a basement with a poker table, roulette, couple of blackjack and maybe a wheel. It was open evenings only. The poker game only ran on Saturday nights - pot limit holdem - it was an interesting game - 1/2 regulars and 1/2 tourists. Can't remember that much except for one guy - a dentist who said he drove up from LA (couldn't imagine driving all that way past Vegas to get to Ely but whatever) anyway after a couple of hours he called out to the 80 plus waitress - "can you get me some grub over here ?". Almost fell off my chair.
Checked their website and didn't see any mention of poker or table games so best to call first. As others have noted it is way in the middle of nowhere. That trip I flew into Salt Lake and drove to Lake Tahoe and back hitting all the poker rooms I could find including side trips to Jackpot, Fallon and Ely.
Drove to Ely from Great Basin Natl Park (the week the Park first was opened). The drive from Las Vegas to Great Basin then up to to Ely and back to Las Vegas is a great desert drive, a different route than just taking Route 50.
(I was staying by Great Basin, not in Ely. I was in Ely only during one day, do not recall any action in any casino, played blackjack a couple of hands and headed back South.)
