PLO AT FLAMINGO PLO AT FLAMINGO

I think that the Aria regs etc would not give the flamingo a second thought. I think they would feel it would be below them to play there. Of course this is great news Providing the game runs daily without them

Tried to get 2/5 going multiple times over the last 3-4 weeks, but it never did. Thanks for very good service to the floor etc.

I would focus on the 1-2. You want to keep the bad players returning. PLO has such a high variance

That's key to running a good game. Most guys are willing to lose a couple hundred bucks or so as long as the environment is relaxed they in all likely hood will return.
I think Flamingo should run a promo of a free buffet for 4 - 6 hours play through the week.

Run a FREE $500 - $1000 Omaha tourney weekly for 20 hours play.
Deep stack with 20 minute levels. Make the structure enticing to accumulate the 20 hours. Include one rebuy and or add on for $20

Reduce rake for daytime players.

I have many other ideas

Give everyone a thousand dollars after playing five hours

Free lap dances while playing

No rake ever

Cardrooms incorporate many of these ideas already. I have played in many where they have some of these promos. Perhaps acedog you haven't played many cardrooms.

They don't take a promo drop for Omaha games.

Also never heard of a tournament counting towards hours for a freeroll.

These promos would just kill the game off.

Other reasons: Because it's nice to have options and ARIA is usually packed with a long wait. I love the Flamingo room and would really enjoy a PLO game there. Heading to Vegas tomorrow and hope they have a few going this weekend.

aria plo games seem very beatable.. only played for a few days there though.. maybe the "pros" were playing badly to trick me.

i was playing the 2/5/10 in Jan, and 5/10/20 in July..

the game in July was really soft.. i mean someone check-re-raised me with rag AA on a dry board.. sample size of 1.. but you know.. that's pretty bad..

I've played the Aria PLO games for about 7 years and I can tell you that over all, they are very pro saturated compared to three years ago. It is the only room that runs PLO daily and at several stakes. Other rooms may get it when someone starts a game or during peak times, but nothing like Aria. Naturally this has drawn more regs/pros to it. Can you get a table that's more rec focused, of course, but it's not like it use to be.
