Good day everyone.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Flamingo Poker Room will be running a Pot Limit Omaha Tournament at 6PM every day.
To my knowledge, it is the only room running a DAILY PLO tournament in Vegas during the World Series of Poker time.

HIGH ONLY

$80 Buy In

30,000 Starting Chips

22.5% Rake... For those who are familiar with the dailies on the strip... This is VERY LOW.

It does not carry a guaranteed prize pool but it has been run before and it averaged 25 players.

WE HAD 2 TO 3 PLO GAMES RUNNING NIGHTLY DURING THE SERIES IN 2017 AND LOOK FOR THAT TO CONTINUE THIS YEAR TOO. TRUE 1-1 W/ $2 STRADDLE ON BUTTON OR UTG. I'M THE NIGHT SUPER (12A - 8AM), COME SAY HELLO.

Depending on the structure, 30k chips seems like a silly amount to start with, seems way better to start with less and have smaller level jumps, but would have to see the full structure.

I remember Ballys did these for a little while last year. I remember getting into a pot with an younger guy where I got it all in on the river on a 4 suited heart board. He had the J of hearts and proudly slammed his hand down, screaming "Royal baby!!" without knowing that both cards had to play in his hand and he only had a pair of jacks, losing to my flush. I would expect some similar spots in a PLO tournament at Flamingo.

Does flamingo call names from the wait list faster now than they did last summer?

When I was there last year, they were giving a full 10 minutes per name before they'd realize the person had left and call the next name.

7th on the list...the table literally played a full hour with an empty seat before they worked their way through the list to call me since not a single person in front of me was present.

Was seriously the most ridiculous wait list management I had ever seen.

tournament usually runs about 3 hours long.

payout structure

5-9 players = 1 place 100%
10-18 = 2 places 60%/40%
19-27 = 3 places 50%/30%/20%
28-36 = 4 places 40%/28%/19%/13%
37-45 = 5 places 38%/25%/15%/12%/10%
etc.
