Vdara is one of the best kept secrets on the strip, particularly if you don't care about an onsite casino and tons of craziness. Regardless, you're a short walk from Aria, Bellagio and Cosmopolitan (the secret route) casinos. It's particularly a great spot for poker players since you're between Aria and Bellagio. Plus, the tram takes you to Monte Carlo if you want low rolling and cheap food.

I've stayed at Vdara 7 times and I've never been disappointed.

LoL, yeah it was pretty bad...definitely worse than Imperial Palace. It was my first time in Vegas, I was there for one night ($100) and I didn't return to Vegas for another 10 years after that.
