Every stay except for 2008 was during WSOP. Honeymoon and 5 year anniv trips big mistakes to stay at Treasure Island. Should have put up more money to stay at nicer spots. I won't tell my wife but on the good side she said she will never go to Vegas again. Largely because she hated the experience at Treasure Island and the dining experiences we had there (at the times I brought her to Vegas I was cheap and broke!). On the good side now I have money and get to go solo every year to play WSOP for rest of my life. Somehow I was a genius to pull this off.
Amazing how much fun Hilton Grand V. was playing pool in lobby until late in the morning with friends. Got to stay in a huge suite thanks to generous friend and had my best hotel experience.
2006: Sahara (x2), Imperial Palace & Palms (oh the joys of being a college kid in LA)
2007: Riviera, Circus Circus, MGM Grand, Sahara, Hard Rock, & Tropicana (seriously, a four hour drive from school to the strip was dangerous back when there was free parking)
