What's up LVL gang. I enjoyed Doing my first ever TR thread last year to cover my 25th trip to vegas and my typical WSOP summer time solitude. Seems like some of the members enjoyed the report so I'll give round 2 another go. Obviously we are still three weeks out so lot's of time but I'm posting today to keep me self accountable to actually do the TR lolz.

This year, I think I'm going to play a few more tournaments (typically a cash game player, and occasional pit degen), but I got my start in Tourneys 20+ years ago, and I know people like to sweat.

In terms of the tourneys I might fire, I'm going to be arriving on Sunday June 11th, and there is an $800 dollar 2 day bracelet event. Probably nuts for thinking or actually late registering this after flying all day from the east coast, but I don't mind jumping in with only 30-40 bigs and taking a shot and making something happen. Maybe we'll find a bag.

Also, for those who like Mixed games, there is and $800 dolllar 8-game at Aria on Tuesday 6/13, that I will 100% fire. Looks awesome. My two worst games are Stud Hi, and Triple Draw (awful), but I am pretty competent in all other forms in 8 game (especially the PLO games) so I'll take a stab at it, and it's sure to be super fun anyway.

Outside of that, you can check out last years report for the background on me, and what you might expect. I'll be staying at Encore again, and other than poker, you can for sure expect good food, and lots of other activities outside of poker and even table games.

Only one week to go my bruhs! Hit up the bank yesterday for the 8K (initial but hopefully not more than that lol) bankroll we’ll need at minimum to operate next week. I typically bring about this when I go - I find that in the past when I’ve gone with like a 10-20K roll I seem to play worse and spew more especially early in the trip. Could just be my imagination but myeh - looking forward to departing next Sunday - plan will be to late reg the WSOP 800 deepstack upon arrival !!!

Alright friends, It’s departure day and it’s like Christmas morning! Went to be super early but it’s 3am here east coast US time and our car comes to pick us up at 5am. We are all packed and ready for whatever comes our way this week.

We are staying at Encore, and the plan for day 1 usually involves eating, indulging in catnip, napping, cash games then a good nights sleep on first night to try to set a base or foundation for the week. Usually this type of routine in LV works for me. Today, we may have other plans.

The $800 WSOP deepstack being potential plan A. I land at 10:20am, so after checking in, eating etc, could get there maybe for 130PM/2PM and late reg around level 6 or level 7 I think which I feel would give us enough BBS to work with. My concerns are multiple: braking a routine that works for me with starting off with what hopefully is a long day, playing 10 handed (gross) and the late reg line. Honestly, we’ll just have to see how I’m feeling and if I can sleep on the flight.

Plan B would be just *** it, load up on cat nip, rest and grind cash from late afternoon/early evening.

Plan C would be 1100 PLO at the Wynn or 1100 NLHE at Venetian.

We shall see!

actually, realized there is also the 8 game event at 2PM and that's actually much more interesting than the 800 NLHE deepstack however, its' a 3 day event (i'm trying to avoid tournyes) - either way, we shall see!

I was hoping to get the rungood going inflight this year…sounds like Delta will be letting me down there. Oh well. Hope you more than make up for their lack of ability to meet your need.

I don’t know if it was because they were out or if they didn’t have at all? I didn’t ask but for sure we are going to push the greyhound button like it’s a shot of NOS when we need that extra boost!

All checked in at the beautiful Encore and we love it! High floor panaramic king with a beautiful view of the mountains - while I prefer the strip side, no complaining! Weather is absolutely gorgeous - we are going to head out for some cat nip and do a little shopping. I just found out the 800 WSOP deepstack is 10 handed - **** that! Maybe will fire the 1509 8 game which starts at 2PM but maybe not. Got a few more errands to run, and need a cat nap at some point also!

So we hit up planet 13 for some good catnip supplies. Our bud tender today was a cute blonde who was really fun to talk to and made some nice recommendations. Got some fast acting indica gummies to help with naps and sleep, got a variety of pre rolls that look pretty awesome!

We also hit up the crystal shops to do a little shopping. Picked up a black backpack from LV that I’ve been thinking about getting for a long time. Although I spend a lot of my earnings on my house, cars and food, when it comes to clothes, especially designer stuff, I’ve never really thought you could justify what some of this stuff costs, no matter how much money you make, but I also have a corporate job where I’m often wearing a nice suit and a nice watch etc, so I sort of justify a purchase like this because I can use it as a work laptop bag etc.

Anyway, shopping is done, and now it’s time for some rooms service. I wanted to go right to Wazuzu , one of my favs in all of Vegas but came back to shower, ordered some room service, then the plan is to try to take a nap. I’ve been up since 3am east coast time, so if I can take like a 2 hour nap it would be purrrrfection - we’ll see what the plan is after that - tourney or cash.

Catnap worked well - got a couple hours in and now we are headed out! Unfortunately I think we are a little late for the tourneys today so we will grind cash - as per usual per WSOP, long lines at the big rooms but I grab a 1/3 NL seat while we wait for PLO! In for 500 let’s go!
