Sorry for the last days of radio silence.
Falk is alive, but that's it about that story, its like they say "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas".

Tuesday:

Busted the 1k Wynn with JJ vs AK and met up with the rest of the Swede crew playing pit games. I ended up winning maybe 1500$ on craps. We decided to go over to Cut at Palazzo and grab dinner. Some of the guys ordered the "100 % Tajima Kobe, Hyogo, Rib Eye Steak" that cost 150$ for 2oz. I ordered 6oz for a total of 450$. I've tried Kobe once, in Sweden, but that time we shared 4oz with 2 friends as a starter. Had some sides along with it and a nice bottle of red wine. After dinner, we played some more craps and I lost like 2k$. Decided to call it and go to sleep.

Wednesday:
Woke around 10 and today was the day of WSOP Main Event. Went over to Rio and signed up and got seated at a table that at first glance looked pretty cold. One older person, Chris Björin (Swedish legend), and the rest of the table were like 25-35. But it turned out that everyone sucked at the table so had some good hopes. Started of by losing a pot with AKs vs AA on a K high board. A while later this hand happens.

We are playing 200/300/300. Open from UTG+1 and I flat 67s on BTN. Flat from SB and BB.
Flop comes AQ2sss giving me a flush.

UTG+1 cbets, I flat, SB flat and BB folds.
Turn is an offsuit T and SB leads out 5k. UTG+1 folds and I flat.
River is an offsuit A and SB bets out 10k. I cryfold.

A new gentleman sits down at our table and he makes a ******ed bluff raising turn and barreling of river. Some hands later we get involved in a pot where he opens in CO and I flat with 32s and SB joins along.

Flop is AJ2r, everyone checks and turn is a 3. The aggrotard pots and I'm tempted to raise, but I end up just calling. SB folds and river is another J. Yet again he pots and I'm forced to fold.

Still playing about 45k but with the table being so great I'm still not worried. Then I'm getting transferred to a new table.
At this table there is 3 young asians, all of them were good. I had some british guy at the table who I don't know if he actually was good but he was aggresive and always showed good hands. Probably only one fish at the table but he was like 4 seats to my left so not that great. Very aggresive table and 3bets and squeezes making me bleed. Think I had a total of 12-13 pocket pairs that got to a flop and didn't flop any set.

A very interesting hand played out, I'm not involved though.

Open from MP, hi-jack call and BTN call.
Flop is A J 8
Cbet from MP, call from hj and a raise from BTN. Call, call.
Turn is a 7 and MP donks half pott. Call and call.
River is a 7 and MP checks, hj checks and BTN all in. MP calls and hj goes all in and MP folds.

MP shows : T 9
HJ shows : A A
BTN shows : J J

I lose some more hands and playing 25k on 300/600/600. MP opens to 1400 and I flat AK. Aggressive SB sqzes up to 5900. I go all in and get snap called by A K.

Flop is Q 8 2 and SB takes back his chips. The turn is a J giving me the royal straight flush-draw and SB doesn't notice this stacking up his chips. I pray for a miracle but the river is a black card and we chop.

Some minutes later I pick up J J in SB and the fish opens to 2400. It folds over to me and I make it 8k with a total of 27k. Then BB wakes and shoves over the top. SB folds and I decide to call it off. BB tables KK and I do not improve. Out of the WSOP Main Event on Day 1 with like 1 hour left of the day :crazy

Wasn't in the mood of anything so went back to the hotel and slept.

Thursday:
Went back to Jardin and had some breakfast before going up to the room to pack everything. When I was done I laid down in the bed and just looked out of our window and then felt something weird. I look over at Falk who isn't really paying attention. I just feel that the bed starts to shake and I'm like "Wow they are really ****ing in the next room". Then everything starts to shake even more and we can hear our hangers starts to sound a lot. Then I realise it is an earthquake. First time ever experience it. We go out from the room and can't decide what to do? Should we like leave the hotel or what. We hear nothing and we decide to take the elevators down, probably shouldn't take an elevator during an earthquake but I'd rather die than run down from the 29th floor. Going down to the main floor and everyone is just acting normal. Talk with a security guy who is like "yeah, it was an earthquake but it's over now". So we went back up.

Checked out of Encore and got comped like 400$ of the total bill. Not that great but I'm up like 4-5k$ on pit games so I can't complain. Went over to Fashion Show Mall and bought some clothes before heading over to Vdara to check-in. That's where we are now.

Falk is playing Main Event 1C tomorrow and i'm going to focus on cash games now. Haven't played any cash games for the last 3 days basically and only main / pit games.

When three guys order $450 Kobe steaks and one guy orders the $69 rib-eye, do you still split the bill evenly?

I played in the Aria poker room when that earthquake occurred. I'd assume that it felt even more on a higher level so I'd probably just kill myself rather than taking an elevator. Damn that **** is scary. Some guy instantly left the table when it was over and was like "I'm not staying here".. don't know where he was heading though?

Usually, we just flip for the bill. This time though, with three of us taking the expensive meat, we just bought out our piece. You can see the flip app we use in the picture.

Nothing interesting the last couple of days. Have grinded some cash games but ran pretty ****. Played at a great table 2/5$ and managed to lose 3k$ after some hero-calling in a 3way pot and was 50 % right. (I had the spew-guy and just needed the last guy to fold as well which he didn't )

Falk is still in the main event though.
Don't know if I'll play more poker this trip.

Might go to the NBA Summer League tomorrow / Tuesday depending on how it goes for Falk in main.
Might go to a show. Was supposed to go to "O" or "Le Reve" and turns out there are no shows Monday / Tuesday. Any other shows you can recommend?

Go see Absinthe! It's at Caesar's. Great show as long as you are not offended by anything.

I saw it for the first time last Monday. It really is incredible. The last act is insane considering your proximity to the stage.

Absinthe or Opium are the best shows in Vegas hands down.

I think in all of my previous TR's I've asked for suggestions for shows. 90% have suggested Absinthe but for some reason, I've never listened. But now I just booked 9 tickets for tonight and a reservation for Nobu for dinner.

Yea just watched Absinthe last week. Bought cheap tickets and got moved to the front row (to fill out the front). The show was hilarious as long as you don't take things seriously (we got made fun of a bunch of times cauz we were at the front). And who here wouldn't love the green fairy?

Forgot to mention that we went to XS on Sunday. Had dinner at Mizumi @ Wynn before and played some Craps before XS. XS is always a blast and my favorite nightclub in Vegas.

Anyhow over to yesterday. I asked around in our chat if anyone wanted to join Falk and me. Two had busted the main event the same day, and the general mood wasn't that great. Managed to convince them one by one and eventually all decided to tag along, except a friend who still was in Main Event. We booked Absinthe for 9 people, and no one had ever heard of it. To make things easier we went to Nobu before to eat and no one had tried it in Las Vegas, but in other locations though. We let our waiter do a menu for us and everything was delicious. We had some sushi, some sashimi, some wagyu, some lobster and everything was 10/10. Didn't get any good pictures though.

Went over to Absinthe and no one knew what to expect. The show started great and then everything just got better and better. All of us laughed throughout the show and the show was really amazing. Thanks all of you for suggesting it. The "host" was amazing and really funny. Some of the acrobatics were insane and I can't say anything negative about the show, neither could any of my friends.

Today nothing really happened. Stayed in bed until like 3 PM and went to Shakeshack with Falk to get something to eat. After we walked back to Aria and I sat down at 5/10$ with 2k$ and planned to spin it up. Had a good table but couldn't pick up any cards. Eventually, I looked down at AKs and 3bet on BTN. The BB announces a 4bet and I decide to jam my remaining 1500$. He calls it off with AKo and we run it twice. On the first board, he rivers a flush and the other board we chop. So I'm left with about 800$ and I left the table. Walked over to the Roulette table and put it all on 8 different numbers and bam a Red 18 giving me 3500$. Walked over to Blossom with Falk for a late dinner before calling it for tonight.

Check out at 12 tomorrow and our flight is 9:30 PM. No clue what to do meanwhile. Leans towards going down to Wynn and hang by the pool with our friends.

This might be the last update for this trip unless anything special happens tomorrow. Thanks for following =) Might do another one if I come back to Vegas a 5th time, right now I'm quite tired of this city though.

Gotta love those $10 waters.
and $50 salmon bellies.
and $100 lobster truffles.

Did you flip for the bill again?

The exchange rate must be excellent!

Most of the guys flipped for the bill. Usually, I'll flip but wasn't in the mood, and I often lose all the big flips The others flipped it though.

So yesterday we went to Fashion Show Mall for some shopping. And when we had 2 hours left until we had to go to the airport, I joined my friends for some table games. Had about 900$ left and managed to spin it up to 5k$ on blackjack. Lost 500$ on Craps after though but still a nice profit. With everything paid, I think the total trip cost me a total of 1k$, with business class tickets, hotel, cash game, tournaments, pit games, partying, shows, drinks, shopping and food. Pretty good considering I haven't really cared what anything cost this last two weeks.

Hopefully, I've managed to earn myself some nice comp at Encore and I'll go back when NHL starts. Btw, are Raiders playing in Vegas next season?

In London right now with a 4-hour layover before last flight to Gothenburg. Thank you all and I'll hopefully post here soon again.

Thats pretty sick that the entire trip; traveling/gambling/eating/partying at a pretty high level; only cost you 1k!

No, the Raiders will not be playing in Vegas this coming season that starts in September 2019. However, they should be playing in Vegas the following season that starts in September 2020.
