If Trooper starts dealing at The Orleans, you are probably right. If not, you're a big bite from a soggy taco.

I thought this was some really bad trolling but maybe I underestimated this effort.

I'm 61 and sometimes the youngest guy at the table. If someone's vaginosis is bad enough to allow hurt feelings over an OMC saying mean things, then by all means, stay away. Surely that never happens at any strip properties.

I went on a run once and kept filling up and beating made flushes and straights in 8/16 O8. When an OMC flared up on me I just looked at him and smiled. Easy game.

Sonny, trust me, at 61 you ARE going to be perceived as an OMC for the rest of your life, exploit it.

Who cares. Everyone uses a cellphone as a watch now.

The 11 a.m. $100 buy in tourney has consistently gotten 60 entries on the weekdays.

Then change his comment to:

No one with a smartphone will play at The Orleans.

You 61 year old young bucks have no respect for poker.

All of the OMC's in the Orleans have the latest iPhone and Android. All of them.

Maybe you should have said "No one with a diamond studded smartphone will play at the Orleans."

damn, now i dont know how to feel about playing the 5kgtd when i head out there..

probably going to be less than 60 players on the monday i get there and most likely all locals..

ehh, ill probably still play it..unless someone can convince me that my time and money is better spent elsewhere..still looks like one of the best value daily tourneys out there..and i do like making old folk angry =D

Bally's is averaging 12 players on its 28% rake daily with no free parking...parking is a mile walk from the parking lot.

PH is averaging 30 players on its 28% rake tourneys with parking a mile away.

MGM is closing in on 30% rake with parking a mile away. Two tables from what I recall.

Orleans with $5k guarantee with much less rake. Parking is just outside. Typical players limp fold a lot.

If you play with your heart, don't play at the Orleans. If you prefer to play using your brains play the daily at the Orleans.

I don't know how many tourney players stay on to play live....but in a few months time, the Orleans will be dominating 2-5. After that, let's wait and see.

The Orleans noon tourney had 82 entries today, Thursday the 12th of September. Off peak poker month. Off peak poker day.

Anyone truly playing poker using their brain isn’t wasting their time playing $100 live daily tournaments.

The levels of tournaments besides the low buy in dailies are:

Super High Roller Tournaments (buy ins of 10k or higher where the pros only own 2 to 5 per cent of themselves and only get paid after they have overcome makeup which for many are in the tens and hundreds of thousands, and for a few, millions - many of these pros have to make videos for training sites just to get to eat)

The Tournament Circuit (buy ins of 500 to 10k where no one can really make a living because fields can go up to the thousands, variance is therefore sky high, making it impossible to get to the long run for decades...causing its participants to literally become bums)

Just saying.

Jeff Boski plays Vegas tournaments in the $250-$600 range most days on his vlog (with occasional $1000-$1600 entries for the WSOP or other series main events). The Wynn and Aria have several of these tournaments every weekend, on top of the constant midstakes series running at Venetian and Planet Hollywood.

I like the charm of the Orleans, there is always an 0/8 game running when you cant find it anywhere else. The foodcourt across the way is very good. I guess i got so drunk there once they cut me off and I wanted to fight the one dick floor guy, good times. They also recently got new chips cause the old ones were grungy as heck

This. I also like their tournaments and try to go there at least once every trip. And yes, I am definitely a tourist and still go there.

Sports book, too. Around a buck cheaper.

Great clam chowder in the oyster bar place...sliders and beers at the Bailiwick...newly upgraded buffet (10 buck breakfast)...TGIF...prime rib loft...ondori sushi...authentic Irish food across the street (outside property)...
