I'm just happy I'm still around and my bankroll is still healthy! When I started this thread way back when it really was bc I was near-felted and assumed I wasn't going to be playing much longer. The fact that we've all been able to be along for this ride in some way, for as long as it's been, is one of the coolest parts to me.

[COLOR="Red"]I've been to both spa and massage, but not often. Spa I tend to reserve for when I've got a friend with me so we can chat, otherwise I get bored fast. I did a couple's massage with wife years ago, given there's no co-ed spa to hang out in after even that seems like kind of a waste. I've done more deep tissue massage/recovery for athletics in my life than I can count, so paying for something I can do 99% of myself with a foam roller/lacrosse ball seems kind of dumb. Plus it really, really hurts.

Massive (for me) update- it's been a whirlwind month since my last Vegas trip. Managed to get all the roadblocks for surgery taken care of, and with the help of some old contacts got scheduled in record time! I had my surgery last Wed and am currently a few days into the recovery. Post op pain was awful the first day, mostly bc I can't let myself take any narcotics, but I'm definitely on the mend and cannot wait until my next trip! Speaking of, part of why this scheduling worked out like a dream is that I should be recovered in time for my next trip- late Dec, I had previously scheduled it prior to the surgery. Obv the surgery would have taken priority, but now that all is said and done I can't wait until I'm back in Vegas and my neck is 100%. More on this soon to be TR later.

For now, here are some sweet hits from my local over the last few weeks. The first one obv got me excited, but not as excited as the phone call I received later in the day where I was able to move forward with the surgery- which tells you how much I wanted this taken care of. Bottom line, my bankroll is the healthiest it's been in a while and I CANNOT WAIT for the next trip!

This last one was literally the day before my surgery. Had nothing better to do than go to the casino. Arm was going numb and I was 20 some pushes away from quitting for the day. Obv I left as soon as I hit this- time to go, arm is numb and almost no chance it gets any better than this later in the day. I will take that as a preop send off!

Leon running way ahead of expectations, like always, with all those kickers. Should have hit 14 or 15 kickers, but hits 22!

Well, expectation was 20 kickers (1/4). I've gone 0/9 the last three dealt premium quads on spin poker where each kicker counts at least 3 ways so I'm running way below expectation there. However, I AM running way above expectation in frequency of dealt premiums- and that's the main thing. If they keep coming in like they've been, it's basically impossible to lose.

Since I've been keeping really tight records the last 100k hands says it all. I've been dealt premium quads 8x no kicker, 5x with a kicker, 13x total. Over 100k hands I should get dealt premiums once every 12.5k hands or so (so 8 times) and theoretically 1/4 of those should come with a kicker (so twice). 13 vs 8 and kicker 5x vs 2x? No question, I'm running hot.

I never get this math right, but here goes. It's a little better than 1/4, 12/47 kickers about ~1.6 over expectation or plus ~3.9% ~$1259.57

So... today happened.

I've been so full of optimism since my surgery. I actually went to the local yesterday and it wasn't great, but couldn't put a dent in my mood. Woke up today wondering if I should go, knowing the right move is stay, before saying "meh F it" and I got nothing better to do anyways. Plus I had a feeling I was due for something awesome. Optimism and all.

Started off with a 2.5k ticket and it was never bad. Soon enough, dealt quads number 1 of the day-

Now I step up to 50c credits which is normally what I do when I hit something big. 1st one lets me play there, and if I can hit a second one... it's going to be a massive day. Dealt quads again soon after-

I played for hrs just coasting, and eventually knew I should just leave. The problem was, I was still winning and never at a good stopping point. Plus, I still had a feeling something big was about to happen. I was already up 50k for the day which is obv beautiful. I finished a cycle of 100 hands and hit the bathroom, intending to leave. Then, I thought "it's a point multiplier day (I already ground 1.5k$ in points haha). I'm running really well. If ever there's a day to keep playing it's today".

So, I decide to give it another 100 hands. After 40 hands I'm stuck 4k (so a loss rate of 100$ per hand!). I'm regretting my decision to play on, but then commit myself to finishing out the 100 hands. And then... dealt quads number 4-



There are just no words.

Everything about today just feels scripted. I literally have broken every record I had previously- biggest daily win, single biggest hit, etc. Looks like I'm paying a shtload of tax next year. For now, I'm just basking in the glory and reminding myself how I gave too much back last time- not this time casinos. I'm locking this up!
