Sorry for this non VP slot question, but me and my gf, will usually slip into a smoking room that has some assorted slot machines , after dinner at palms/cuba libre (atlantic city) and we donk off 40-100 dollars on the wheel of fortune 25 cent machine , (1.25) a spin, and for the past few years , i have noticed it never really goes above 500k,, as of yesterday i spotted it at 1.5mill. even with its horrible overall payouts, is there a number where it makes some sense to play this? or will i need a 500k slot bankroll to make this worthwhile?

Yes there is some point where it is +EV to play a jackpot slot/VP machine

You can figure out when in VP, hard to say with the slot
