He'll do a mix of bills and vouchers. It depends on what he has on him at the time. Typically he'll start with bills and if he hits something big enough he'll get vouchers in the 2k range. Something big enough that each one will give him some play, but small enough that he doesn't donk everything off in one shot. Sometimes if he knows he's going to be there a while he'll just have them key it back into the machine.

Most of the big players I've seen just get a voucher. I think my dad and I tend to be the exception in that we like cash. For myself, it's a measure of tilt control (slightly more difficult to feed in 20 bills than one ticket), and it makes teaming up easier (I can just hand him cash, or we both feed in bills).

I'm sure 99.9% of people on this forum know this. We're not under any illusions. I think the guy that was talking team was simply looking for a way to spread risk around (same rationale I use when I partner with my dad).

This thread is the only place I have ever seen UltimateX that offers TDB.

I must have looked at several hundred machines in the San Diego area and in Las Vegas and I have never found TDB..only DDB.

Could it be because I play $0.25 and not $1.00? Maybe it is only offered at $1 and above?

If anyone on this board has seen a $0.25 UltimateX machine that offers TDB, please let me know where.

At $50 per set of hands, and someone who knows TDB like you can easily blow $600-$700 in a minute if you have the machine set on max speed and you hold cards fast.

Go look at vpfree2 to start. LV has loads of 99%+ games.

Someone willing to play $12.50 a spin can find plenty of 98%+ or even 99%+ games in Vegas that fit their bankroll. Even on Strip, this person could go play the 3 line double super times pay bonus deluxe game for quarters at Aria, which has nearly a 99% payback. The real value for a VP grinder is off the Strip, though.

The bigger challenge this player will have is that big multiline games on the Strip and downtown even for nickels, dimes, and even quarters are often bad paytables relative to playing single line dollars or 3 line spin poker dollars.

Yeah the pool/team thing was something that our poker crew has been talking about doing on our June WSOP trips as a way to get more gamble in while hanging out. We wanted to do it with either VP or slots. Each put up $500 or whatever and try to hit something.

Look on the All-star II machines, it's on there.

There's about 4-6 TDB Ultimate X Machines that spread $0.05-$1 in the newly remodeled Palace Station. Once they're done, that's going to be a nice off strip property. It already looks way better than it used to be.

If Jeff and or George are working, let em know you want to play UX and they’ll boot people off the 2 machines that have them in my experience. Also Jeff can make a non alcoholic shot (bitters based) that cures Indegestion if you had a rough night.

I take a glance and had to do a double take to see if real, she had hit for 100,000 playing quarters lol. She was playing super times pay 5 handed and was dealt a royal on a 20 times pay, told her sorry i had to take a pic it was just so pretty. If i knew how to upload pics i would, it was indeed pretty. The fact that i immediately thought of leon is pretty lol but goes to show how awesome your trip reports are... you're due for an epic hit.
