I see. I'm good with a cumulative 6 fig bink as well, doesn't have to come from just one hit Honestly the most likely way I'm envisioning it is UX- I get a dealt straight, or 2 full houses on a prior hand then get dealt gold- that alone will do it. Figure if I'm 5 handed and get two pair, and two turn into fulls I'll have 12x + 12x + 3x + 3x + 3x = 33x for the next hand. Dealt royal or 4 awak would be 132k at dollar credits.

One can dream...

This thread either ruined my life or made it much more fun. I can tell you for sure that the Cosmo ****ing loves me now. Heading back in a couple weeks. Went 4 weeks ago. Managed 56k or so in w-2 forms and left a 24k loser. Stick to VP is the plan for this trip. Tables killed me last trip (huge shoutout to Norm in the Cosmo hi limit room dealing black jack. 5 up card, I split aces and double down on both hands. He turns over a 10 I get excited. Idk why, he obv peeled the 6)

Unfortunately the two are not mutually exclusive.

Actually fun and life-ruining pretty much go hand in hand.

Alcohol = liver dies
cigarettes = lungs die
sugar, lots of tasty food = obesity, diabetes
sports at a high level = injured for life
gambling = destroyed bank account
chase women = divorce, STDs

etc etc etc... sigh.

I was playing 2$ credits so each hit was 5k, a few times I stepped it up to 10 credits (it was one of those machines that you could scale up to 20 credits per bet) and hit which was 10k.

I had a night in there where I was 3/3 for trip draws- dealt 3 deuces, hit the 4th. Rinse, repeat. Rinse, repeat. I turned a near 5k loss into a 7 or 8k win, something like that. Thought I was god

That money was gone in 2 or 3 subsequent trips I think I then went through a stretch of 15 consecutive trip 2 misses... I basically stopped playing loose deuces and single line after that. Too frustrating to play forever to finally get a draw, then only have a single 22.5-1 shot at it...
Thanks. I went back the next day (Labor Day) and I hit this

I was up about $1700 for weekend, went to the poker room and lost $180 and then went into monkey tilt. I sat down at the 5 play spin poker (machine that spins with 4 of a kind). I played rest of the night. Good news is I made VIP status. Bad news, weekend ended -$270

I just barely recovered (emotionally) and decided I would post

I like grinding the single lines. I get raped and massacred on every multi-line - ultimate x, spin, whatever.

Sounds like my day yesterday- turned a 1k loss into a 1k win very early, kept playing, must have been between -1k and +200 for hours. Every time I got positive I knew I should leave (I had stuff to do later in the day yesterday), but I also regained motivation to play. I remember being up about the time I figured I needed to leave. Instead, told myself I'd be "ok" with just being down 500. Kept playing, donked off the 500 really fast and went on tilt. Down 1k. Down 1.5k. At -1700 I came to my senses and left.

We've all been there. ****ing tilt.

Bar near me does $20 matchplay mondays, just do $20 hand of blackjack and you get $20 freeplay so it's basically free $19 every week. I went today and did my playthrough on bonus poker cause the variance is so small. Got dealt 3 4s, made 4 4s with a kicker for a whopping 200 quarters. Whoops.

Louis Winthorpe III: Fifty bucks? No, no, no. This is a Rouchefoucauld. The thinnest water-resistant watch in the world. Singularly unique, sculptured in design, hand-crafted in Switzerland, and water resistant to three atmospheres. This is *the* sports watch of the '80s. Six thousand, nine hundred and fifty five dollars retail!
Pawnbroker: You got a receipt?
Louis Winthorpe III: Look, it tells time simultaneously in Monte Carlo, Beverly Hills, London, Paris, Rome, and Gstaad.
Pawnbroker: In Philadelphia, it's worth 50 bucks.

yes, i got paid. back in the mid 2000 bonus whoring days only one place didn't pay me. if you look at the screenshot you can see i have the t&c's in the background of a browser window. gotta screenshot that **** because those casinos will try to **** you on that.

i'm not sure if it was golden palace but one casino, when i went to cash out, offered me a clearly +EV bonus for me to keep my $ there. they did that TWICE, i grinded out the bonus on VP both times and came out well ahead.

they didn't offer it a third time, and i cashed out. gg

It's pretty standard in high limit rooms as well as staying on soft 17s.

You might want to become a futures trader afterward.

9/21-9/24 TR

Preamble

At the airport waiting for flight home currently, so no pics or anything. Just setting the stage properly.

My wife has been away on a 10 day trip hiking- it's her 40th B day present to herself. I still have to work and the kids have school, plus I have zero interest, so she had planned this with some friends which leaves me by myself with the kids for 1.5 weeks. As my parents are now back in Vegas, it made perfect sense to come here for a 3 day weekend with my nanny.

Shoe pic- just look at the last TR, same shoes

Bankroll- 10k.

Agenda-
- kid activities: New York New York for the arcade, ?Circus Circus for same, pool, good food, see grandparents
- gambling: as much as I can get in, given kid activities
- eat good food

I thought this might be a fairly sedate trip- I brought some self-myofascial release tools and was planning on working my flexibility and mobility every day. I also planned on getting more sleep than usual. Spoiler alert- I didn't use the equipment once, and am dead tired from lack of sleep.

Spoiler alert #2- I have some SICK pics from this trip.

Actual TR coming soon...
