Hey Leon, given your most recent posts, "hotter than the sun" is an understatement at this point. I do keep detailed stats like the ones above and thought you might find interesting to see how the other half lives.

These are stats from my last few years of 50 line 9/7 TDB, I always play all 50 lines, but am pretty close in total bet to what you've been playing at Barona recently ($62.5 to $250 per deal):

220k total deals
48 dealt quads (at 4165 deals per, I should have had 53, so slightly unlucky here)
11 dealt premium quads - 3 aces, 4 2s, 2 3s and 2 4s (with 4/13 premium, I should have had 16, again unlucky but nothing crazy)
0 dealt premium quads with a kicker (with 3/12 kicker cards, I should have had 4, pretty unlucky here)
Also, no dealt royal yet
Just for fun, longest stretch w/o a dealt quad = 17k deals

For any normal game, just looking at the above, you'd think I'm running below expectation in total win/loss of course, but they don't necessarily indicate a total disaster. But playing TDB, being just a little bit unlucky in overall dealt quads, and distributed in this specific way results in:

Total expected loss = 230k credits
Total actual loss = 820k credits!!!

That's not all cash out of pocket, I get a lot of free play and I'm way up on other games, but still... what a total ****ing disaster! But almost the entire 590k difference would be made up by just the 5 missing dealt premium quads alone: 1 AWAK (200k), a 2, 3 and 4 each with a kicker (300k) and 1 small premium no kicker (~40k).

Yeah, I hear you man. Esp with TDB, since there are so many top heavy payouts- a few key hands per year make all the difference.

I'm definitely under no illusion that any of this is due to anything other than dumb luck. I've got some friends that seem to think skill has something to do with it... and they seem disappointed when I tell them otherwise.

i take it you know optimal strategy for the paytables you're playing, and try to always play as perfectly as possible, etc. there's definitely skill involved in that, but it's only observable over the long term. over the term of this thread, though, keep crushin.

you're the TDB wizard, but my personal degen pursuit is 9/5 DDB QuickQuads Wheel. they only have it at silverton, south point and maybe NYNY, if i remember correctly.

To add on to the tales from the other side of the curve, I'm running 80K under EV for my last 7 trips. I think I've had one dealt quad in that stretch. AND this is mostly 9/6 job; I don't even want to think where I'd be sitting if I played TDB.

The posted pic is so sexy... I saw another recently, 5$ credit triple spin poker, also dealt 4 awak, so 540k$. Haven't had anything reasonable to report recently, just your standard "show up to local and leave with less/zero money".

No idea. I've posted about this before, but the combo of years of playing, not keeping super close records, free play, and mixing of life/gambling rolls (usually life funded by gambling, but I've hit an ATM or two in my time), it's anybody's guess. I could do a rough calc but there wouldn't be a point.

I prefer to think of more recent life expenditures that were funded by gambling because they'll never "get that money back", so to speak-

- 100k piano
- 60k garden
- 30k roof/solar (I think we drew from house money for this as well; example of the "who knows for sure" aspect of all this)
- at least 50k into the market

Before my 2 yr sun run I lost plenty.

It’s 5 credits per line, 10 handed so 50 credits total. $25 x 50 is 1250 a pull

I was in the Orleans high-limit room, playing $1, but there was a guy at another machine that had that problem. He said he got a handpay about every 10 minutes. He got 2 of them during the short time I was there.

Cosmo has Fastpay, you can just key in your PIN to keep playing and get sent the tax forms later, rather than waiting on an attendant every time.

After posting that score, I am pretty sure it would encourage the admissions to LSVP.

May be on one of your trips you should create a 2+2 group fund and allow us to contribute to your amazing run (also get some much needed dough for all of us as well).

This seems like a stone terrible idea for Leon. Not only does he not need the financial backing, can you imagine the sheer amount of Monday morning QB'ing he'd get from the people who staked him? It would be enough to give aspirin a headache.
