I like the recent pics here, keep 'em coming. I'll contribute as I can- haven't hit anything noteworthy in a while.
Been doubling for 15+ years. My main takeaways are:
(1) Double everything, every time unless 4 of kind + (then it’s based on risk tolerance, getting unstuck etc).
(2) Session wins or losses will mostly be dependent on the double game rather than the actual game.
(3) Play single-line higher denom machines vs multi-line lower
(4) Bonus Poker is the best game when using the double strategy (must adhere to point 1 though). This is due to getting 10 credits for a 2-pair while still giving you extra credits for the bonus 4 of kinds.
(5) Average number of doubles per hand should be 2-4 (never opt for single doubles unless 4 of kind +). A full house/flush/straight is best at 2 or 3 times while one pair/two pair/3 of kind hands should be done 3-4.
(6) Don’t think of each double individually, rather group them into clusters. You’ll notice patterns of terrible clusters followed by great ones. The key is to wait for the decent hands to fall within the good clusters. Once that happens you’ll get several jackpots back to back. It’s all about waiting for the good double streak to align with some good poker hands. It could take hours, but as long as you’re hitting some to keep the bankroll as close to even as possible, eventually the machine will go through the streak. I’ve also noticed on several occasions that I’ll go through a dry poker spell of 10-15 hands of getting nothing immediately following a successful double (maybe just coincidence).
