Hi all I'm leaving north cali for Vegas tonight with a friend taking my car. This will be my first time in Vegas so I am very excited! I will be staying there for 4 days and night.

While my friends will be partying the majority of the time. I am here mainly for the poker and will be reporting a ton of hands and results here for you guys to enjoy.

My main game I will be playing will be 1-3 with 500 max at the Wynn or Aria.
I might book a 2-5 session at Bellagio (500 max buyin) also.
I plan on playing 1 deep stack tournament in the buyin range of 200 on saturday

My total bankroll for poker will be 2.5k which should be plenty for these stakes.
My goal is to come home atleast break even after all expenses paid for.

But with a bit of luck I might come home with more in the bank! Wish me luck guys. I will follow up with a post once I get there before my first session.

Good luck. I'm also NorCal, and will be getting there Saturday. I'm booked at Red Rock, so doubtful our paths cross.
Five 50 Pizza at Aria is wonderful food. Same chef as upscale restaurant Sage. Right outside the poker room, and a lot easier on the wallet than other places.
I find taking a break from cash games and getting my own grub is easier, cheaper, helps clear the cobwebs, and gives me a lot more choices than eating tableside.
For 24/7 food at Bellagio, the Cafe Bellagio is superb.
The new poker room at Wynn is actually over at Encore, so I have little advice- I've not played there yet.

After 9 hours of driving my stick shift to vegas i make my first stop at the wynn. I get on both 1-3 and 2-5 list. 1-3 opens first so i hop in that and buyin for 500.

After first orbit i realize the guys to my left plays super passive. Over limping jj on the button passive. I look at Q10o utg after my first Blinds. Normally a fold but with 7 players and the players on my left being passive i open to 12. SB and BB call.

Flop KcJc4x.

I have Qc10x and cbet 20. Sb calls

Turn blank. I bet 35 and sb calls again.

River brings a flush and he checks. I bet 75 expecting him to not check a flush.
He calls with 9c8c.

I rebuy 200 more, in for 700

Next interesting hand there is a 6 dollar straddle on the button.
I have Red AA UTG and think about limping. Instead i make it 30 since the button will defend wife ip. Everyone folds to him who calls.

Flop 852 club draw.
Bet 40 call.
Turn 7.
Bet 85. Minraise to 170 leaving 270 left.

I think most sets raise flop most the time and he could have 66 77 86 56 flush.
draws. I can't flat and play many rivers oop. I want to charge all semi bluff draws now. If he has it i reload. I go all in

Swingy day up and down.

I raised MP to 20 with KK. Straddle calls.

Flop 963. Check check. Turn Q. Check bet 25 call

I beat 2 pairs now, a queen is gonna call again for sure once i checked the flop
Pot is 90 and i choose to overbet 160. Praying for a call.
He calls and beats us with 73o. ****

2 limps. I raise 20 with AA. Button calls. First limper calls
2nd Limper goes all in for 110. I min raise 220 cause the button and me are 700 deep
First limper calls all in for less. I scoop on a AQ8K8 runout

Up about 50 bucks (750 stack) and coming to the end of my session 7 handed. UTG limps 3 and i make if 15 with 8d8c. CO, SB, BB limper all call. 5 to a flop of
AsJs8h.

Gin, time to build a pot from many draws and top pairs. I bet 50. CO calls

Turn 8s bringing flush. Bingo

I check and villian (660 stack behind) bets 50. Cr to 150 and he 3bets me to 300. He has 360 left and im OP so i decided to get it in now. He takes a few seconds to call.
I scoop a 1k5 pot.

After the end of my last sesson i played another 2 hours session and lost -120.
So we are at $700 profit for day 1. This is amazing results considering I went straight to the casino after the long drive from cali.

Anyways gonna start today fresh and check out the New Orleans. They have a 1-3 with 500 buyin which I like and only 15 minutes from my rented house me and 6 other guys threw in for.

Day 2

I went back to the Wynn again instead once i looked online at pictures of the new orleans. Booked a 11 hour session. Swingy session.

Turn 6. Check bet 60. He has 120 left and calls.
River 5 check check. He has 65o for rivered 2p.

I raise AA UTG to 12. UTG +1 (350 stack) and BB calls.

K scared him thinking i could have QJ. Now thats how u flop set over set and still run bad.
The guy decided not to raise the flop and then nit out on turn rofl.

HJ raises 12 CO calls and i make it 50 with AK. Both call

I was down 500 at one point but manage to climb back and book a 275 win
