Operation: Fade the Rona


I was originally supposed to go to Vegas this weekend for a bowling tournament pre-Covid, but that was cancelled. I happened to get some comps that I decided to use as soon as I got word that 6/4 would be the opening date of most Casinos. I have 2 nights comped at the Strat, and I'm paying for 1 night at $24+ resort fees. I also have 2 nights comped at NYNY.

I fly out Friday afternoon and arrive at midnight. I'll probably rent a car Saturday and do some shopping. I'm packing a bit light and buying new clothes for the summer since putting on some quarantine weight.

In this TR you will see:

-No context pic dumps
-Records for edible consumption
-Basic food porn
-A few local spots
-The struggle to say no to hookers n blow
-Lots of Keno and Video Keno action while I drink terrible beers
-Some UFC betting
-The quest for a Tinder hookup
-Maybe a poker session or two. I'm not crazy about 5 handed...

I could have gone 6/4... I actually had a long weekend that weekend. Briefly contemplated it, but my family had other plans and I figured no need to force a trip right at the beginning, and with the protests potentially affecting things. If I forced it, and booked a loser, caught corona etc I would have been really pissed. Good luck out there!

An empty airport and close to a full flight.

I really would have liked to have an airport beer but there's minimal options for food and no alcohol. I had to settle for a QPC from McDonalds and an iced coffee. 4/10.

For the run good, i did not check in until i got to the airport and drew row 4, window seat no neighbor.

If they're serving beer in Denver Intl it would be nice to be slam one before I transfer planes.

So I'm an idiot. I thought i had a 1 hour layover when its actually 3. So I'm taking the train into downtown Denver to hit a dispensary before it closes and hurry back full of edibles.

The race against time. I have a 35 min train ride back to the airport and 25 mins to get to my gate and on board. But at least I have 100MG in me.

how much did items cost?

Together it was like $72 w/tax. Not bad. Im deep into an edible high now that i just landed.

I had to wait 27 mins for an uber. Pretty bad. I need to find a new battery for my pen and maybe get some actual weed. I'm going to see what the $20 trick gets me at the strat, then probably dump a couple hundred at bar top games.
