no strat in chat thread, but there are plenty of situations where it is fine to put KK/QQ up top with your starting five. It's degen and it's mathematically correct at the same time.

Chinese Open Face Poker - Pocket Cowboys Games

The newest update damaged the app a lot, so hopefully there will be another update with some fixes soon. You can see in the ITunes store how many 1 star reviews it has now whereas before it was averaging a 4 star rating. Everyone is pretty much on this app though, so we just have to deal with it for the time being.


Current biggest problems:

1. You can't see resolved games like you used to, so if you're playing for $ you have to keep track in a Notes app whenever the 10th round finishes. Since the app has a "Buddy List" you'd think it'd be trivially easy for it to track total points per player (with the ability to reset to 0 when you square up).

2. The chat feature they added is a good idea but it sends each message like 5-10 times for whatever reason.

3. The app no longer has a red (#) on the main screen on my Iphone showing how many current games are my turn. It'll show in my notification center but I can't just glance at the home screen and see if action is on me.

4. Some people I play with (especially on Android) complain that the app crashes or stops responding a lot. I haven't really experienced this on Iphone though.

I freaking hate the app!!! So damn glitchy! Keeps trying to refresh, states that I'm not logged in, kicks me out, chat sucks, and it's almost impossible to request a game

Wanted to let everyone know, as per his wishes, that Katana is confirmed legit at teh basketballz. Kicked my arse in both HORSE and 1 on 1. That "33 yr old fat white guy" (not my words) can ball!

When is everyone going to finally realize that Katana is pretty much a Polymath.

If you have to look this up then you are not a Polymath.

Katana has an exemption and may look this up without losing his status.

Haha, that line came from this morning at the Y when I was shooting around.
The Y is like a de facto daycare during summer, and a group of kids were sitting around while I was shooting. One of the guys, like maybe 15-16, wanted to shoot, so I let him. Eventually it turned into a game of HORSE, with him talking smack saying he would beat me.
I beat him 3 games in a row and he never even got a letter on me. Then he said he'd definitely beat me 1on1.

I took on the challenge and beat him 15-6. Then I looked over at his crew and was like "make sure all your friends know that your boy just got worked by a 33 yr old fat white guy". Then they clowned him. Good times.

Do you guys know the "Foreign Money Exchange" store at Convention Center Dr? If so, are their rates really that much better than the casino's rates?

Gonna fly to Vegas tomorrow and need to change my Euros in the US this time :/ Any other advise where I can exchange with a proper rate?

There are several European playaz that are shipping out of vegas over the next few weeks. Possibly start a thread where you can meet one and do a direct currency swap and pay no fees at all.

In other news taking a full week off from the pokerz. Worked my ass off during the series and taking some much needed and deserved r&r. Best wishes to all the boys grinding it out this week!!

I am thinking of a few LVL posters who could do some great blogging.

Question that is not related to Vegas at all lol... Playing the mega millions at the bicycle casino, and the buy in is $160 plus $100 add on. The $160 gets you $5k chips, and the add on gets you $8k in chips...is it best to start off with the $5k only, or to do the add on right in the beginning? I played a prelim last week, and did the add on right away, but not sure this is the right thing to do. Thoughts?
