I don't think anyone's started a threat on Greyhounds so I am tempted to but for now I wanted to put on record that I ended a horrible skid at the tables with a Greyhound. Took my stack out of the red and into the black and then I won a SNG. All Hail the Greyhound!

classic afternoon at the beer and tequila show...
i pjcked up lunch for myself and katana... pay for my ticket... play craps... drink my arse off... take a $20 cab to kabuto after loosing track or katana in the masses that came to the beer/tequila show... pay our $300 sushi bill... pay for another cab over to the orleans and wake up the next morning with $40 more in my wallet than i started with

Oh, I survived. All I know is I'm never taking Elliot and Mschu to war with me. First thing I learned back in my days in the Army....never leave a buddy behind, lol.

So we get there, and the room is huge and packed with vendors and hot chicks hawking every drink you can think of. We plan our strategy. "Ok guys, let's take a lap around the building, just to get our bearings, and see all of the offerings".

That plan went to **** real quick, as we immediately stopped and started sampling drinks, and had already consumed at least 9 shots/drinks before we even made it halfway down the first wall. I probably knocked back those 9 drinks in the first 10 minutes. They even had brandy infused ice cream. Pretty much the nuts IMO.

So during the day I tried to talk to a few girls here and there, and eventually met a girl and her friend, and we wound up hanging quite a bit. About 30 min later I get a text from Elliot that they're eating sushi. I'm like, oh ok, cool, where at in the hotel?

He's like, no...we're at Kabuto. I drunkenly realize kabuto is not at the LVH and I got left behind. Oh well, didn't wind up too bad. I eventually ran into squid and his g/f, and then hooked back up with that girl, and we went out to the bar afterwards.

We exchanged numbers, had dinner set up for tonight, but she hasn't returned my call or text. So I guess no dinner for me tonight. Oh well. Overall a great time.

Haha! Sounds fun! Sorry I had to miss it, and I never leave a bro behind! I'm making June/July vacation plans tomorrow with work, I have to fly to Maryland for a couple days, but I'll be cruising out to play some cash games and party ASAP, hopefully in my new ride!

Dude(Kat)... There was no intention to ditch you but you kept disappearing every 5 minutes and it seemed you were more interested in being solo than you were hanging with two married guys.

In a room at was literally shoulder to shoulder with several thousand people, it became somewhat troublesome to hold hands.

Besides, we called you a handful of times BEFORE we left to try and see if you wanted to still hang or be cut loose, and, you were the one with the wheels... We fended for ourselves.

Cheers for sorting the tickets! For anyone who didn't make it, it's the best value event in vegas by far! After 3 solid hours of free shots and beer I couldn't face even staying in the room (and there were 2 more hours left)

So I was at the Palms last night to go check out The Great Gatsby (Monday is $5 movie night).

Movie doesnt start for about 20 min so I decide to hit the craps table quick. Degens gonna degen. I buy in short, only a 100, since it's a min $5 table. Guy to my left is an older Asian guy, who has about 75k in chips. Lots of yellow 1ks and purplish 5k chips. I've never seen that much on a craps table before, let alone at the Palms on a Monday night.

The two players to my right pass on throwing the dice, so I'm up. The Asian guy is betting the Don't Pass line and betting 5k pretty regular.

I'm on the come out, spike a 7 first roll. Very next roll, 11. I establish my point, 4, and spike it on the first roll. Asian guy is already down 15k.

I establish my next two points, 6 and 10, and hit both after smashing the field for a while. Asian now down 25k after still betting 5k on Don't.

He looks at me, and goes "You're on a roll, I should bet with you instead of against you."

Places 5k on the Pass line, and I establish 8 as the point. He loads up the bases for like 2k each and throws down like 10k on odds. My very first roll I wind up with a 7 and crap out. Table wiped clean.

Asian guy down like 45-50k in 20 minutes, I'm up roughly a bill. I say "sorry", and catch my movie.

Asian guy wasn't drinking greyhounds, was he!
