yo, i got pulled over the other day in henderson for expired registration. $412, ouch.

i've heard of people getting tickets reduced, how does one go about doing that??

Not sure about expired registration, but my ex got stopped for having out of state plates for more than 30 days after moving here (2+ years later). $300 fine for that one. She got NV plates, went to court and apologized, and had it reduced to... maybe a parking ticket? Something small - like a $20 fine. I think as long as you take care of the problem before going to court/challenging it, you'll be fine.

Moving violations can be reduced to non moving parking tickets. You can use a traffic lawyer and pay a fee to him, or do it yourself via the court but as far as expired registration? as far as I know, I don't think you can do anything.

Lucky they didn't impound your car.

I got one for registration and not changing my address within 30 days of moving. Was like $600 or something total. I had no idea about registration since I hadn't changed address and that was like 6+months. Went to DMV immediately next morning and took care of it. Then dropped of tickets with $50 at this office. A month or two later they called and said enjoy life everything is taken care of.
