I mean my hourly is public and I don't see why that's a big deal. I can understand the reason for not wanting it out there, but I don't see why having it out there is bad.

it's not + or - to have it out there... it's just a private thing. some people care, some do not... but it is their own choice. T says it's okay so there you go.

Seems people love telling stories about fantastic WR's when they are winning and then they get sensitive when those WR's go into the red.

Everything is not always as it appears...

Just looking at this very small time frame, and the very small volume of hours represented, you *could* come to the conclusion thats its "horible".

However, it is a very small time frame, it is a very small number of hours, and from the postings I believe it was based around a prop bet.

Taking all of this into consideration the numbers posted mean *nothing* in the big scheme of things in relation to poker....but it does sound like someone is getting a nice dinner paid for by other(s).

Not trying to rag on the guys, but from all the posts, I thought there were killing it...I'm not one to talk since I'm a break even player at best, but I just can't imagine putting in that many hours to be in the red.

Starda, 30-50 hours in a live setting is almost completely inaignificant when it comes to results. That's like a weeks worth of work and having a losing month or two isn't that uncommon. Only like 1500 hands. That's why volume is the key on the live scene!

Variance is just that, the variation away from the mean... hence the reason BR management is so key.

Anyone know of any arcades on the strip... Have some very interesting prop bets on arcade games with a few buddies I only see once a year.. Tried searching but fell up short. Looking for pop a shots and skee ball but others work too

50 hours is such a meaningless small sample size. People often state that (although I disagree) that 1k hours is only enough to tell if your a winner or loser in a given game.

Variance happens guys. In that 50 hour sample I have lost a 4k pot with 70% equity, I have lost 2 or 3 1k-1500 pots with the best of it as well. There is really no way to prevent yourself from losing over a small sample. Had I won the 4k pot my hourly is like 40$/hr. That can show you how much variance there is over an insignificant amount of time.
