Good point, I have been playing with a lot of British people lately now that I think about it. You know that it is going to be the exact opposite of what Bills was though. No way there is going to be low limit gambling and beer pong at a place with that name. I guess I am still upset about the death of Bills and will spout out negativity about anything associated with this property.

Seriously, how pretentious is "the cromwell"??
if anything, id think the name would be more anti-british than british.

The intention according, to an article i read, was a reference to the cromwell current -- an obscure underwater ocean current that runs from the galapagos islands. So while the name appears pretentious, it is merely pedantic.

sure thing mang - come find me at the v if I or any regs recognize you we will do an hours prop bet. Since I don't know you I will insist that we have someone hold the $ in escrow and we verify via a print out from the bravo system of our hours when we log in...lobby minutes obviously do not count.

several people come to mind that I trust that can escrow for us:

Mschu
cushlash
rob farha

I'm hanging out in Vegas for a month or two and just did a bunch of research on something similar. I'm not a grinder and not playing much poker, but this may help you:

Poker rates for major properties

I decided to stay at Candlewood Suites at the corner of Flamingo & Paradise for at least the first month. It's about a mile east of the strip. They have a 30+ day rate that works out to $50/night for a small suite which includes a kitchen and basic kitchen stuff. Not fancy, but clean and quiet. Free wifi, no resort fee, no dealing with security deposit returns, etc. It's about a 15 minute walk to Bellagio, an $8 cab ride, or you can take the 202 bus line for $2 which has a nearby stop and is a direct shot to the NE corner of Bellagio heading down Flamingo.

There are also a lot of VRBO rentals at nicer properties in and around the $2k range. Look on craigslist for MGM Signature at ~$1800. Palms Place was recommended by a bunch of folks here and is around ~$2k/month.

Bet 10.4 to win 1... 10 to 1.
I would accept anything less than 10/1 on a str8 up and no points spread because denvef WILL win
