The benefit of playing in the same room is that

A) you kinda know who the good regs are (ie. who to avoid)

B) The floor people know you and you can get away with things like "hey, the line for bell desk is too long, can I keep my luggage in the employee break area?"

I guess what I meant was I dont spend too much time in the poker rooms anymore, I mostly degen the blackjack tables and enjoy the quick winnings. Poker has just been to draining even after a 2 or 3 hour session.

Just booked my trip for Friday thru Monday on Super Bowl weekend! Gotta a deal to good to pass up. $200 for a 3 nights stay at the mirage. Although I don't like gambling there, the V is right across the street which is good. I'll make sure to post some pics. Gonna be with the wife, so won't be going too crazy.

back in action after a few days of r&r...and the action is booooooooming. When i left the v they had 8 2/5 games and about 1 mirrion 1/2 cames and every one must have hated $ cuz they were doing their best to give it away

place was rockin and rollin when i got there at 330pm...i strolled in and was shocked at the crowd scene...i am getting back on normal schedule and plan on being there at noon today

So I only visit Vegas occasionally, but I was there last week. I read LVL threads before and after trips. So I'm reading this thread, and I really think that 'squid face' was on my right on Friday at the V 2/5 game.

This guy was clearly a reg, played a little on the tight side in the half hour we were together, was talking about getting back from a ski trip, and made plans to go hiking with some old reg dude. He makes veggie smoothies. He also was clueless re working his iphone. I think he complemented my play one hand (I am good for an Ohioan).

Finally, would he be described as a 'buff hippie'?

only 20-30 minutes at the same table, you just sat down then I moved or got moved. I called flop 643hh (I have 99) then shoved to Euro raiser across from us, he called too much w 6x8x and it came 2-5 for chop. I think that's the hand you complimented my shove.

That was my first time back to LV since 2010, but I hope to come twice a year now...
