seems like everyone is in town already for the New Years holiday as it was crazy crowded down around the strip last night.

last night I played NLHE and had to lol at one hand. get dealt 77, raise to $10 in EP. 2 callers and then BB Villain shoves AI (he has me covered). This particular V would never shove AI without JJ-AA or AKs pf so I fold. There is one caller, V shows QQ and we see a flop...which is 5 7 7 (and this room has a quads bonus). yeah it was a good fold but talk about getting trolled by the deck.

Just walked out of the MGM and randomly stumbled into Antonio Esfandiari doing card tricks and being filmed on the Strip. He pulled me out of the mini-crowd, had me and another woman write our names on the 3 of clubs, shuffled it into the deck, and somehow it ended up between his teeth without me or anyone else noticing. Dude's got skills.

I ****ing love living in this town.

Action has been absolutely wonderful as anticipated. Also with all of the young guns home for the holidays there were essentially no skilled players thus the squid had a massive December!!

News: confirmed that the Venetian went 9 handed which is ossum IMHO

I am so completely in favor of any rule that makes a nit's head explode. Next the Venetian should switch from Fiji to whatever, and not allow you to order your coffee any way except black.

Doesn't surprise me about the V. They don't really care about the Poker room or the Sportsbook anymore. The last time I was there the service at the sportsbook was so bad I won't be staying there again in the future.
