What's the max buy for the 2/3? And you mean it is time charge instead of raked?
No max buy in, $5 time charge.

I doubt it, Duke is a bigger nit than you. lol
He won't like paying $10/hour in time rake, being a super nit and all.

I'll be checking out the PLO and 2/3 No Max games week of the 22nd.

I'd much rather play $10/hr than normal rake. He must know that's better.

Would love to play the $1 PLO, but this trip we won't bet there on a Tuesday Might try the 2/3 on Thursday, March 25!

Yeah Duke is a Nit and only plays two hands an hour, so yeah true no time rake for him. For normal players and especially if the game is playing big the time rake is better.

Fifty bucks? So you can go fold, fold, fold, shove?

Sounds pretty good.

Thanks for asking. Not quite enough people, so those that came joined up with others to start a mixed game.

I'll give it multiple shots, including different days, to see if it can stick.

Heck you may want to try again this weekend, which I imagine will be the busiest poker weekend in over a year with March Madness. In normal times every room gets full and the bigger places end up with huge lists and people looking for open games.

only fools think time rake is better, and those who play 98% of their hands. for them maybe it is.

sorry i didnt make it up there this week. i know Dave wanted me to be there so we could meet. but i prefer the $50 min buy PLO to the big game with the $600 min buy

If they were on Bravo it would help a ton with that spillover.

Poker Atlas is so much better but just doesn't have the market share.

Agreed but understand why a smaller room without shared properties isn’t on Bravo.

Bravo would help for sure, but from what I understand, Poker Atlas will be making some inroads this year.

Are you not allowed to be listed on both apps? No sure why that'd be. I only use Bravo because it has all the good rooms on it but my god how have they not added the ability to add your name to a list through the app like you can on Poker Atlas. Seems like that should have been added years ago.

The poker room has to pay for whichever system they use. I have no idea the prices but it seems the off strip and smaller rooms prefer Poker Atlas.

I don't think its possible to have both systems installed, not that any room would want that.

I def recommend the 1/3 game they run with no cap and timed rake (I played it in January when in vegas for the venetian series) . Its nice to play a super deep 1/3 game with over 100-150bbs on the table. The game isnt the greatest though as it seems everyone playing from the 1 time i played was a reg. Maybe like 1-2 recs showed up to join the game but the play seemed fairly nitty with no real punting going on when the table had no recs.

150 bbs is "super deep"? You should've seen the old Wynn 1/3 no cap where people usually bought in between $500 and $1500.

The deep stack game is on Thursday nights and it’s a 2/3 game with a min buyin of $600(200bb) and no cap.

Bravo has the player tracking system too, which I've heard isn't cheap.

Hi, I can speak to some of these points about the game, as I've been at each one:

1. I'm sure sometimes players who are losing drop below 200 bbs, or straddles shorten the game, but in general it plays far deeper than 200 bbs. I and most regulars have settled into a buy in for 300-400 bbs. Often newer players start with the 200 bbs.

2. The game is like all games - sometimes it's nitty, sometimes it's wild. With new faces each week, the composition is always shifting.

3. In general the skill level is higher than an average low stakes game, but it's all relative. I've been told how soft it is and how hard it is and I'm sure both are true depending on your perspective.

4. What I'd like to say is that the reason the game goes on is that it is social and fun for the most part, despite whatever the gameflow and player composition is.

5. Conversely, the PLO night (Tuesdays generally, 1/1 $50 min) has run three times so far, but not big interest yet. Obviously, this game has featured a lot of action, and not everyone can handle the swings of even 1/1 PLO.

All things considered, I'd say this effort has been successful. If there is anything else I can answer, let me know.

pretty sure 52 social offers the deepest $1-3 NL games. there the players often buyin $1000 or more and there are like 4 stacks on the table over $1000. especially in the 10 or so PLO games usually going at the same time. but also in the $1-3 NL too.
