Well, Derek Stevens has been an operator on Fremont Street for a long time. He certainly knows that market and is an innovative guy. Not someone to bet against, however this is a concept, the footprint (the site of the Las Vegas Club) which begs for a new development right on Fremont Street seems a bit small for all the described "biggest, best" in Las Vegas features.

There will certainly be a new project developed on the site, good luck.

(I think WellReadTed missed his opening to pitch his "exclusively poker" theme for the hotel. Stevens; other hotels do not offer poker.)

If any place should offer poker it would be one that is sports book-focused like this one, but yeah I too doubt they’ll have it. Also, that rendering is fugly.

That footprint is pretty tiny for that type of scale, from looking at the rendering. It'll be interesting for sure.
