$40buy in. 33runners. Paid $180. I'm now up $40 on tournaments this trip.

Chilling at main Street station watching denver/trailblazers.

The crew is running good on sports betting today too.

Watching the sixers game. I'm a sixers fan. That first half was something. Go sixers.

Today's plan: Betting tennis. Renting car. Going to red rocks. Playing tennis. Returning car. Play some poker. Probably other activities.

Chilling in the Philly airport. Much to report.

I'll try to do it chronologically with pics.

Got in late on Friday. Took a little plane to Philly and then a big plane to Vegas. Here's the little plane:

Chilled at the Tropicana for a bit and then made the walk down the strip en route to Ellis Island.

It was roughly 3:30am. I had the chicken and waffles. Brian had the chicken fried steak. Ethan had some sort of skillet. They were delicious. Ellis Island is always on point and affordable.

Went to bed late. Don't worry I got up early on Saturday.

On Saturday we all got up early for whatever reason.

Watched some tennis. Bet Thiem. He lost. So it goes. This is us at the MGM book where we got the game put on. Pretty swanky.

At the tropicana there was some sort of insanely large billiards tournament going on.

Played the 11am tourney at MGM grand. Didn't cash.

Played some $10 pai gow at the tropicana with Ethan. Won like $15 and got a bunch of drinks. Here's a coffee with Bailey's:

Chilled by the pool at the tropicana for a bit.

In classic Vegas fashion, we hadn't eaten yet and it was like 4pm. So we caught a cheap happy hour at some place called Hussong's in the mall at Mandalay Bay. It was medium and the price was right.

Decided to Vegas it up and check out the Skyfall place. Spent literally $10 on a beer. The view was really sick though.

Walked from there to the Gold Coast to go bowling. That place is sick, and everything is affordable. Check out Ethan and Brian's scores.

Walked up to the Chinatown area. Got some pho. Enjoyed it. The place was hopping at like 9:30pm.

From there we headed to the Golden Tiki. It was also hopping.

Here's Ethan's fire drink and Brian's non-fire drink:

and my Painkiller:

And then we Uber'd back to the Tropicana after an extremely responsible and non-degen evening.

Sunday Morning we got up and sweated some more tennis. It's suprisingly hard to actually get the games on at the books for whatever reason. MGM at least had the tennis channel.

I went and played the 9am tourney at Excalibur. Took 3rd for $180.

Then we packed up and headed downtown to watch sports for the bulk of the day. Here's some beers for watching the Trailblazers/Nuggets game at the bar at Main Street Station.

And then we got some food at the happy hour at Downtown Grand while watching the sixers game.

That game really hurt. Stupid Kawhi is too good.

Then we degened for a bit at El Cortez before hitting up the table tennis and other activities at the Gold Spike. That place is funny.

Finished the night off with some Prime rib specials at Downtown Grand. That is some solid food for $8.

On Monday got up nice and early to go to Red Rocks. Rented a car from Advantage at Main Street Station for about $30 total. Seemed like a great deal.

Stopped at a McDonalds near Red Rocks. I had a breakfast sandwich that was super well made. Highly recommend.

Red Rocks is really nice. After google-ing "best hikes red rock canyon," we did the top two trails: Calico Tanks and Ice Box Canyon. Both were awesome. Good job google. Here's some assorted pics.

I'm not good at taking pictures. That place is really dope.

Played some tennis at Lorenzi Park. The courts are dope, but it does cost $5 to rent. We were tuckered out from the hikes so the caliber of play was pretty bad. Also, I'm bad at tennis.

To cool off, we hit the water slide at the Golden Nugget, which is where we were staying for free thanks to some sort of email promotion I received. That pool is crazy. The sharks have scary mouths.

Rinsed off and then went to the Buffet at Main Street Station. After all of the activities and not eating since breakfast, we crushed it pretty hard. That place is also delicious.

From there we degened pretty medium. I lost $100 playing pai gow. It was a rough end of the night. Went to bed fairly early and responsibly.

On Tuesday, we got up early and checked out of the Golden Nugget.

Went to the Plaza to have a nice McDonald's breakfast while sweating a bunch of tennis bets. We had a few hundred in play and ended up profiting precisely $4. Crushed it. The breakfast sandwich at the Plaza wasn't nearly as good as the one near Red Rocks.

From there we walked to Frankie's Tiki Room. We passed by the cool Frank Gehry Building.

Here's our first round of tiki drinks.

We had a few rounds, which is a lot in terms of tiki drinks.

From there we ubered back to the Golden Nugget at about 4pm, and I snap late-registered the 3pm tournament. It was probably a mistake since I was still feeling the tiki drinks quite a bit. Didn't matter though. I somehow took 3rd and was pretty in the zone. Just couldn't get the cards to finish things off when we hit the everyone has 12big blinds stage. Cashed for $191. Meaning I had about 100% roi on poker tournaments this trip. Totally sustainable.

While waiting for the floor to pay me. I checked a voicemail on my phone. It was a job offer starting in a couple months. Feels really nice to have a job lined up as mine is literally ending in a week. Really good.

At this point, having not eaten in like 10hrs and having drank a lot, I needed some food. We ran over to Triple George with like five minutes left on happy hour there. Solid food and the bartender was pleasant. Shared some sort of spinach dip and calamari. At this point I had gotten really lazy with pictures.

We had the Warriors -7 so we played some pai gow beneath a tv to sweat that. Both the basketball and pai gow went well. Then we grabbed an uber to the airport and flew to philly. That pretty much brings us to the present.

Extremely pleasant trip. I was break even at sports betting. Up on poker and down on table games. I did a bad job accounting, and I paid for some stuff in cash, so I don't actually know if I won money. But I'm only like $130 in cash (including paying for activities), so I may actually have won money gambling.

I think Ethan won a decent amount, and Brian was about break even.

Fun trip.
