Chilling at Tuscany happy hour before heading to the airport. Mixed results today losing about $20 makes it my best day betting.

I have a lot of pics and such to compile.

I'll post in a bit. Hoping I pass out on the plane.

I just took stock. I think I lost about $420 on the trip. Nice .

Easily my biggest loss. Doesn't feel bad though.

Look at this way. Some psychos prefer to spend that on a 750 ml of absolut for a few hours of a good time. You spent (not lost) the same amount and had a good time the whole trip. I’m glad you don’t feel bad, you shouldn’t. You probably even drank more than a fifth of liquor better than absolut!

Hope you do a post live TR retrospective. I enjoyed the read

This is what our room looked like in Main Street Station

Hot take--it's not as nice as the suite at Arizona Charlie's. Definitely felt safer in the casino though.

Breakfast Monday at Main street buffet, they gave us a coupon so it ended up being $6/person:

I enjoyed it.

We wanted to spend some time outside, so we decided to hit up the Springs Nature Preserve, since it had trails and a botanical garden. I don't know what exactly we were expecting, but we were way off. In the best way possible.

There were a bunch of fun and educational exhibits in three different museum. There was a small zoo. There was a giant water pumping facility. I learned a lot, and the staff there were super friendly and wanted to do activities and show us around, which was really generous of them considering we're a group of late 20's guys in a place clearly built for families with children.

Dope snowboarding simulator:

There were these narrated history exhibits with life-sized plastic people. Really uncanny:

The entrance to one of the museums:

It led to a water pumping facility:

It sounds like Southern Nevada is making some big time improvements to its water infrastructure and conservation.

Understandably botanical gardens have a different vibe in a desert than I'm used to. This pic is pretty representative:

I grew up close to Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania, so I guess that really spoiled me.

My first tiki drink:

I ended up having three over a couple hours, it made for a really solid afternoon.

This is representative of one of our rounds of sports betting.

It's fun to make a lot of bet and sweat the close ones. Doesn't always work out great.

Around 5:30, we needed a snack after spending the morning in the sun and the afternoon drinking. Hit up the swanky happy hour at the cal steakhouse. I had the rice, Ethan had the tuna nachos, Andrew went to McDonalds:

After a long night of sports betting, We ended up getting a midnight dinner at the downtown grand. Their $7 steak and eggs is awesome:

Ethan and I ended up in a long blackjack session at the Cal with three Binions dealers from various South American locales one of whom was celebrating her 30th birthday. Didn't leave the table until 4:30. It was probably not a good decision. Vegas is neat.

The sleep deprivation and long hours drinking made the crew hungry, so we shared some chicken fingers at Main street Station:

It's not often I have 4 meals in a day. Especially not at 10am, 5:30pm, 12am, and then 5am. Vegas is neat.

Yesterday after about 3 hours sleep, Ethan and I hit up smashed pig for lunch. I got a swanky corned beef sandwich. I enjoyed it.

And that's about where my pictures run out.
