The Horseshoe yellows look bigger. My imagination?

Horseshoe chips are bigger yes.

Similar concept as counting, shoe is either hot or cold (winning or losing). During losing streak you keep flat betting, and when it starts to heat up you increase your bets to take max advantage.

Today we are not pussying out, gonna battle as long as possible (or until I run out of bullets, whatever comes first).

Table is pretty good for the graveyard shift with an Indian whale at the table.

Currently up 3 bills

Almost feel ashamed at this point, 3bet AA vs fish and the flop is A32 and we get it in vs 33 for stacks. I am considering taking the W at this point.

You could do that, buy back in short an hour later and just nut-peddle to get your Gold hours.

Nice win and never ever feel bad about running good, because no one gives you money back when you run bad

Serves them right for setmining in 3bet pots.

Things are going so fast it’s hard to keep track with everything and update. And to say it has degenerated is an understatement!

Anywho, where were we? Yeah, cashed out at Aria and grabbed a coffee and started to think where I should play. It’s too early to head back to my room, can’t really sleep as I have a super early morning meeting tomorrow. So best choice is to head to Bellagio to play 1/3. Head over and the game is terrible, I don’t even know why I keep trying to. Floor announces there is a $200 double board bomb pot NLHE tournament running with 10 entries and $4000 gtd so I was like why the hell not. That sounds fun!

Played for like 4 levels I think without much happening then got into a 3 way pot where I was ahead but got quartered so that was not fun! Then they announce a 15 min break and what else to do then to head over to blackjack?

I get stuck in 2 absolutely horrible shoes. Try to press but nothing works out, it’s cold as hell. Then third shoe heats up and I’m betting $125 two spots and a few hands later cashed out $1650 for a $750 profit. By the time I’ve already blinded out of the tourney so no point in going back. That’s Vegas!

Plan is to go shopping then chill for the rest of the day. No more play until tomorrow morning.

Awesome! Few things more degen (as far as poker goes) than getting blinded out of a tournament while you're preoccupied in the pit.

you went to play BJ during a poker tournament break and blinded out. that's funny.
you do know the BJ table will still be there later? the tourney will not

Did you actually check? I was in a tournament once where a player left and could not get knocked out. They would get down to big blind all-in, and for whatever reason there were always 2 others in the pot too. The absent player would more than triple up, then 3 orbits later do the same thing. The empty seat was playing really well for 3 or 4 levels.

pretty sure if you are forced all in and are not in your seat your cards are folded. that "once" tournament you were in where it went otherwise was surely not at Bellagio

If you're not at your seat, as soon as the deal is completed your hand will be killed. So the absentee player can't win any hands, not even all in ones.

This. Also it wasn’t like I had a huge stack, I had a couple of blinds left after being quartered three way so was probably out by hand 5.

Early morning work meeting so why not take Paris for 3100 before that:

Btw not sure what’s going on but pit boss was standing next to the dealer entire shoe. Couldn’t press as he was watching every single hand. I guess once I would have pressed I would have been backed off.

I'm talking out of my ass here, but if they were really monitoring you for advantage play, wouldn't they do it more subtly? I'd be more inclined to think the pit boss was watching the dealer, was bored, or since this was an AM session and you no doubt look like a Serious Gambler he wanted to accurately rate your play or just see what you were about.

Probably yes, but have never had it happen before. He was standing right next to the shoe and watching every move the entire shoe. Also this was at high limit so the dealer was obviously very experienced.
