If they do that, they better make their top tier status automatic rather than by invitation.

It virtually is already. It's uncommon to reach the point threshold and not be invited. They just want to review how you got there first, make sure you're not gaming the system somehow.

I did not know that.

I guess Caesars has dropped the cap on Seven Stars they used to have.

If Caesars wants to make their levels a little more exclusive, I know how they could do it without having to change the signage on their diamond club.

Add levels by adding words for their diamond level. Current level would still be called diamond, next level would be double diamond, and final new level would be triple diamond.

Yeah, they already have that. Started last year.

I know that they now require different points to earn things when you are diamond. I am talking about giving a name to this differentiation.

They do have names, I just don't remember them.

Not according to Caesars Rewards overview online. It only lists four levels.

Gold, platinum, diamond, and seven star with no additional levels within diamond.

This affects me. I was going to do another Vegas trip before the end of year to get 1300 points to keep my diamond status. However if they’ll take away no resort fees type benefits away, I have no reason to try and keep the diamond status.

You're talking about the Diamond Aspiration Levels (level 1 - 15k tier, level 2 - 40k, level 3 - 80k). They actually stopped doing this last year, that's why you can no longer see anything about this on their website.

This article discusses the changes they made to the Total Rewards system for 2018, with respect to the value of the Founders Card: https://milestomemories.boardingarea...ards-for-2018/

I feel the same way, but there is the benefit of getting put first on the list for poker and getting a special line for dining.

There aren't enough seven stars in my town to make the special line seven star only.

To be clear on the Diamond match of Mlife status...I am going there in September as an Mlife Platiinum member. If I get the diamond match from Caesars isn’t that only good through Jan 2020 and then I reset to the lowest level on Feb 2020? My understanding is that it is a one time match. If that is the case I may take the chance that they renew the promotion next year so I can have diamond status for WSOP.

Check out the thread about grinding 150 hours for a discussion on this very subject.

I didn't know this could be done, what tier is needed?

I used this privilege when I was grinding at my local casino.

I wonder how other players are going to react when I use it at Ballys and Caesars.

Don't worry about it. You won't be the first Diamond player to do it.
