Hi everyone,

I like to drink while playing out in LV. Unfortunately, every time I go out to Vegas with plans to take advantage of the free drinks while playing, I always end up drinking Blue Moon or Whiskey/Cokes. I'm not a picky drinker but I figure that if I'm getting the drinks for free, I should at least take advantage of that!

Anyone have any suggestions? I've heard to get watermelon juice and I hear people mention different whiskeys but I'm hoping to have an idea for any nicer or more interesting drinks I can order while playing.

Drink what you like. I usually get perrier since the bottles in the store cost ~$1.50, so $1 tip is a good move or cherry coke with extra cherries. I carry a backpack with a salsa jar full of syrup and store all the extra cherries so I can have energy throughout the whole day.

+EV over the typical grinder backpack of bananas.

Whenever I fancy getting plastered, before going to SR for example, I sit down for an hour in one of the small rooms such as the Excalibur and smash back half a dozen vodka and pineapple juices. 5 bucks to the waitress for the first one to secure her attention, a couple of dollars per thereafter. For 15 dollars that’s the equivalent of $50-100 worth of drinks at stripclub prices. Turn up at SR with a good buzz on already, quick spliff outside, and in we go. Happy days!!!!!

Grape vodka is always a good choice. It's getting harder and harder to find in Vegas, though.

I got AMF (Adios Motherf**ker) at Planet Hollywood last summer while playing 1/2. They also serve Guiness which I like. At the Bellagio, I like having the Bayleys with coffee and whipped cream. They sell that drink at a nearby cafe in the Bellagio mall for $12, so great deal lol. Problem is running bad will make your free drink expensive. I also got it at the Golden Nugget though Ph didn't have it. Irish coffe is also served at the Bellagio.

I made some white russians home and liked them, gonna check if they have them at the Bellagio this summer when I visit.

Or if you run well you got free drinks and won money. I look at it like this, even if I lose my 3 or 4 hundred dollar limit for the night playing 1-3 it's not much worse than if I'd had the same amount of drinks at $20 a pop at a strip club or regular club where you're also at risk of spending much more on top of that. At least at the poker table I go home with more money than I came with occasionally. At the end of a night at the titty bar I always come home with an empty pocket.

Any/every bar will make that for you- vodka, kahlua and cream. Pretty much all bar staples.

I like these types of small coincidences. Have you had AMFs as well? They were surprisingly good. I wonder if you were the one that made the Windex comment because it does look like you are drinking Windex. Still a good drink. I also tried getting an irish trash can but the waitress didn't know what that was. Good luck this summer if you go back!
