Has anybody figured out the formula they use to calculate tier credits from Video Poker?
We used to average 2k - 3k tier credits from each 1 -1-1/2 hour session, leisurely playing between 3 and 6 lines of quarters at max credits on a 98% game (9/6 TDB). Around 30 sessions per year and we were comfortably Gold Card holders.
Now, it seems, we struggle to earn 1,000 tier point from the same gaming efforts.
It is a bit convoluted, but by running $100 once through a 7/5 Jacks-or-Better machine (tough deal), for a theoretical loss of $3.83
this dude reports to earn 33 tier credits.
If my calculation is right (?) that means, that you earn one tier credit for a theoretical loss of 11.6 cents. So we would need to run $6,270 through a 98.15% return 9/6 TDB machine to earn just 1,000 tier credits. This is clearly not correct.
Any input or experiences much appreciated
