Venetian, Wynn are all good properties comparable to Aria. Could also consider Red Rock or Green Valley if you don't mind being off the strip.

Red Rock all the way. It’s off strip but I love it there and it has a decent poker room with a nice sports book.

Another article on the MGM/Caesar's cyber attack. Possible causes and continued fallout.

My favorite part (I'm in IT/Security):

Zoom in: A former MGM employee who left the company this year told Axios that the company restructured roughly 75% of its corporate IT teams in April, resulting in layoffs, and outsourced another IT team in July.

I'm in IT too. It's amazing how upper management often makes the cheapest decisions they can without having a clue as to the repercussions. Like when outsourcing all the coding to India was all the rage, until everyone ended up paying so many American programmers to fix the crappy code that the practice fell out of favor somewhat.

It appears that MGM is not paying up, which may end up wrecking the whole company.

Just came back from a stay at Vdara and everything seemed pretty normal there. Bellagio had its comp system working and aria got its up and running on Friday night. Talked to a bartender at park mgm who said he hasn’t been able to view his paycheck in their system still, but from a customer standpoint I experienced no inconveniences.

Probably not their first priority, but both Bellagio and Aria are giving fairly frequent updates on Twitter regarding tables running & wait lists.

Want to and will are 2 different things.
I remember pre bravo checking borgatas website where they'd update the poker lists every hour or two.

I was in Vegas when this hack first happened. They couldn't even take call ins the first few days. Even when they could I would have much preferred Twitter updates than calling in to ask what was running.

Based on their latest tweet updates if seems like a lot more games are running than when the hack first hit.

The MGM Rewards site is back up and running as well. Offers, comp balances, etc., are visible again. Glad to see the hackers haven't touched my freeplay.

I couldn't believe when I heard about the casinos being hacked. All the money the casinos make they can't upgrade their cyber security? They would rather pay a fat ransome?

Also, you can't stay at Caesars then either. They just paid off the hackers. You're going to run out of places to stay!
