Man I also get absolutely DESTROYED at the slots in Cosmo every damn time I'm there. I've wondered if it was just ****ty variance or they really do have the tightest slots on the strip.

I don’t pay parking or resort fees, get a couple free nights a year and “enjoy” the tightest GD machines I’ve ever played. Seriously, I get raked over on their machines, I do better at blackjack though. The $5 in comps for every $100 resort spend comes in handy as the comp points from the previous trip often pay for a few meals or spa a visit for the current trip.

My wife and I still love the Bellagio but it’s hard to basically spend as much as we do at Cosmo and not get nearly the comps back.
What do you mean by GD machines?

I’ve walked up to the sports bar there and ordered a drink and hit two buttons and boom 4oak 2/3/4 for 200 bucks.

But MOST times I’m just sticking bills in a machine and watching the credits disappear. It’s probably just variance (the few thousand coin-in a trip doesn’t allow me to realize the full spectrum of variance per trip like say Leon) but it would be nice if every now and then I got like 97-99 percent payback instead of 80

Cosmo and Wynn are the only two properties left that don't feel completely generic to me.

I used to love the Bellagio but they haven't invested in the property, have eliminated all distinguishing features, and have made the poker room horrible by packing a **** ton of tables in and blatantly favoring regs.

This is the exact reason I never play at Bellagio. It's been like that for 10 years. I hate constantly getting my chair bumped by someone just trying to walk in between the tables.

Maybe I'm different, but favoring regs seems a much bigger problem than cramped quarters. I appreciate a no-frills gambling experience.

I really doubt it will ever happen, to big of a merger with too many kinks to iron out and satisfy all parties.

They don't have to satisfy all parties, just the ones making the decisions.

if you think the favoring regs is bad now you should have seen it 5+ years ago

I remember the pre player card days when you had to spend your first one or two red chips just to get a seat without having to wait for ages..

They put in extra tables during the WSOP and it was very uncomfortable. But after the WSOP ended they removed those tables.

They removed a few tables a few years ago so it’s really not that cramped in there anymore. I think Aria is more cramped and uncomfortable these days.
