Just booked a trip for weekend of Mayweather fight. Always wanted to be in Vegas during huge fight weekend. Anybody have info on best way to get tickets? Do they even go on sale to general public for fights at MGM Garden? I realize it's gonna be a tough ticket but if they do release a small number to public I'd have a shot. Any info would be appreciated.

Go thru mlife or mgm box office to purchase tickets. I don't think they announced when presale tickets will be made available yet.

Craigslist is always good for the boxing tickets. Lot's of gamblers will get the tickets as comps then sell them on there. Sometimes you can get great tickets with big discounts.

Unless you are plan on receiving special offers from casinos, now until end of sept is a fairly busy time in Vegas.

You could always book now, and cancel/re-book if prices drop.

As far as tickets go, be prepared to get them the hour (minute actually) they go on sale. I've been to the past two Mayweather/Pacquaio fights at MGM. For the Pacquiao tickets I paid $325 for a $200 ticket on stubhub, which I bought a few weeks before the fight. For Mayweather, I bought them minute they came out and paid face value, but I struggled to get through the ticketmaster queue and didn't get as close as I wanted, so I guess its a crapshoot. The tickets for Mayweather fight nearly sold out the first day, only about 1,000 left after the first day. The demand for the this upcoming fight will be WAY bigger and tougher I'm assuming because of the huge Alvarez following and high resale value.

Bottom line, do what you need to do to get them the day they go on sale.

I’ve been on over 100 Vegas trips since the mid 1980’s and the night of Mayweather-Pacquiao was the the craziest I have ever seen the town. Good memories..

I've seen FM a number of times around town... walking around his club on Highland and hanging out at the Jewelers. that guy is tiny.
