Does anyone know how many tier credits are earned per hour of poker? I am trying to retain my pearl status for next year to retain my free parking.

I was trying to figure out that one too. I do know that your poker comps combine with all properties. This will depend if I stay in one property or go to multiple MGM properties.

For comps it's per room. For getting your pearl/gold status it's combined although when I was at Aria for whatever reason I had to bring up the fact that I have ~10 hours at Mirage.

I assume for tier status its only Vegas rooms that count. I have a lot of hours at National Harbor, but I assume I don't get anything for that.

I have 200k points to reach Platinum.
I'm going to play poker for a week and maybe spew a little at some pit games, pretty impossible to get 200k points then right ;D?

What does Platinum give me?

Last time I played at Aria I got just enough hours to get Pearl but didn't have enough time to stick around to get the card upgraded. Will I still be able to self park for free if I upgrade the card next time I play there or do I need to upgrade the card first?

The only real benefit to platinum over gold is that you can get a diamond status match with CET

I never asked but I'm sure the answer is no. I was Pearl from slot play/spending and I never heard anything about that helping me hit Gold (which was from my hours in poker rooms).

If you buy tickets to a show through Mlife, when do the points reflect on your account?

Is there a way to see a history of how you earned tier credits? Doesn't look like it, but wanted to ask anyways...

If I remember correctly the points process one day after the show date.

The Mlife desk should be able to answer your questions.

All MGM tickets are through a 3rd party system. Whether you buy off the MLife site or go through VIP services they will NOT be credited to your account. You can take your receipt to the MLife desk once redeemed and they will add or you can email adjustments.

It's a shame their site is lacking in terms of seeing how you earned points. I've racked up a decent number this week but I couldn't tell you what it was from. (Guessing room and food charges as I believe poker doesn't generate tier credits)

If you hit 50 hours at a poker room at Bellagio for example, do you get 25,000 tier credits or do they simply just give you Pearl status without any TCs.

Thanks! Would have been cool if we did get TCs, because that additional 25k would have put me into Gold for the next year and it's unlikely I'll hit 100 hours before October. Oh well.

They used to not even upgrade you to Pearl no matter how many hours of poker you played. That only started when the parking fees started.

I've heard that some MGM properties might not let you combine hours from more than one room. Aria does it however if you ask.
