Report from a relatively unbiased outsider: Currently staying with Zefa and the rest of the crew for the first time. Moved in two days ago. Very happy with the accommodations, and Zefa has been very responsive to my clueless noob questions.

Shameless plug: Got back a few days ago after staying at Zefa's place for the better part of two weeks. Great living space, clean, very reasonably priced, especially compared to living in a hotel. Friendly housemates too. Definitely will use his pad when I visit again (I hope soon). Highly recommended!

If you need a place in Vegas (and don't mind being off-strip) and he offers, take him up on it.

For those looking to stay in Vegas short term, there is a city law that rentals must be at least 31 days, and I had a code inspector stopped by one day and ask how long I'll be there. I found my place by negotiating with someone through their listing post on VRBO. Expect to pay $1500 minimum for a 1 bdroom apartment that isn't a piece of ****. If you're on craigslist(which I found to be pretty useless) then that its likely a scam unless they link you to their legit website and most importantly, CAN SHOW YOU IT!!
