Any nightclubs you can recomend+
pends on the night, pends on the club.

usually XS isnt a terrible wait. I have never failed to get right in with 50$/person tip to the bouncer + entry fee. Cheaper then getting a table in general.

In that Tao, XS, Tryst are good but there is nothing just outright best its a person to person feel.

I'm going to Vegas on November 6, and my flight doesn't get in until 11:40pm. I'm staying at the Gold Coast. Is it better to take an airport shuttle or a cab?

I've never heard anything good about the airport shuttles, for what that statement is worth.

Regardless of date, time or location, it is always better to take a cab.

Bally's: anyone stayed in the Deluxe rooms?

Someone mentioned Harrah's earlier. I seem to be the only one who defends them, but if you can get one of the renovated rooms (still standard), Harrah's is hard to beat for location and value.

Next time it's this windy, you really MUST take the dog for a walk again and this time video it. That could win you $10,000 from America's Funniest Home Videos.

For reference to help you pick an appropriate day for this, the peak gust I see reported at McCarran today was from the north at 52mph at 2330Z.

I have taken the shuttles when I am traveling by myself and not in a hurry and never really had a problem at all. If I am traveling with someone it makes far more sense to take a cab. If you are in a hurry, take a cab.

Try the Boulevard Mall at Twain and Maryland. It's a short cab ride from the Strip. The shopping is typical American mall fare. Good for basic clothing like, socks, underwear, jeans, shoes, etc. They may have had some closures due to the economy, but I think they still have a JC Penney and a Macy's.

Fashion Show Mall across from the Wynn is on the Strip and probably has all you're looking for.

We are 3 guys going to Las Vegas for 1 week in December. We are looking for a room on the strip, is there any nicer then just a room with 3 beds?

Ive done some searches, but it doesent show me correct results, some results are suits, but only 1 king bed.

Any recommendations?

Some hotels will provide rollaway beds for a fee. Try contacting some of them directly and see what they say.

Sup guys, friend and i have been in Vegas for a month, staying at the jockey club...our lease for this place ends around November 7 or 8...we can renew the lease for another month but it is slighty more expensive so we figured we mite look around for some other options...so basically we are wanting to know if anyone has any spots available in some kind of poker house? or if anyone knows of any awesome places we can stay on the strip?

Most (not all) suites are one-king. If you're looking for a suite that has three beds in it you will find a few, but that requirement will severely limit your options.

So proberly we need to get 1 King + 2 rollaway beds or 2 queen + 1 rollaway bed.

Any one knows the fees for a rollaway bed?

I believe it will depend on the property. Some places don't change for them (I see hints on the web that Bally's doesn't, and maybe TI), and some may have a third-person-in-room fee that includes it. I think most places that charge for a rollaway will charge around $15-20 a night for it.

Why not just get two adjoining regular rooms? Who wants to spend a week in Vegas sleeping on a rollaway cot?

Either that or stay at Venetian or Palazzo, they at least have pull out couches.

Anyway, I've only requested a cot a couple times and was never charged.

Between the outlet center downtown and the one south on the strip all outlet needs should be covered...no need to drive all the way out to Primm (which is just depressing anyway).

Apologize if this is a slow pony, addressed elsewhere, but...

The other day the wife got an email from the Wynn offering 3 free nights good for the next few months. Today we got a phone call from them with the same offer, plus $100 in play and some other stuff. Our play there was unremarkable, a few hours of VP last March.

Anyone else getting random, insanely good offers that seem out of line based on their play? Or is Vegas just in that bad of shape right now?

I'm getting offers from the Bellagio based on a few hours of green chip blackjack play or simply from having stayed in the past. They're not insanely good (as yours is), though - the best was a $95/night offer (any day of the week, no blackout dates) last March which was definitely a result of the recession. Most of them recently have been ~$110/night but mostly weekdays and heavy on the blackouts.
