Are there any banks where you can set the ATM withdrawal limit to whatever amount you want to? My local credit union told me they couldn't increase it beyond $2k/day and to get another card if I needed more. The cards from my European banks have a 2k€/day ATM limit, even though I could set the overall monthly spending limit as high as 100k€.

I think a lot of ATMs have a $1k per withdrawal limit for non-customers to make people pay fees twice if they needed more.

Mine is capped at $2k as well. I didn't know that about the ATM limits. That's smart/evil.

Wait, are you saying that it's per card and not per account?

With one of the European banks I have a VISA and MasterCard that draw from the same account and I can take out 2k€/day with both of them.

TBH I don't remember if the US credit union told me I needed a second card for the same account or a second account. I guess I just assumed it's the former because it's that way with the European bank.

That's some good info. I always assumed it was per account.

It's been a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure Wells Fargo let me set it to unlimited. I was having problems with Chase when I moved there. Maybe there's a limit, but for some reason I was thinking they took the limit off the account, but there is a limit per machine. I could be wrong.

Mirage has to pay out all their promo $.

Idk if it is +ev but if you are gonna play, might as well do it there.

There will be five slots-based drawings daily from July 9-13 and 16,; the drawings are hourly starting at 3 PM.
It appears that each drawing is for:
$40,000, on July 9-11;
$50,000, on July 12 & 13;
$20,000, on July 16
Only players playing within 2 minutes of a drawing are eligible

There will also be one table-games-based drawing daily on July 12 & 13
To be eligible, you have to play at least one of these between 11 AM and 7 PM on that day:
Face-Up Pai Gow
UTH
3-Card Poker
Let It Ride
Blackjack
Baccarat
The 7/12 prize is $217,424.45; the 7/13 prize is $230,075.28
You need to be present at the drawing and claim it within five minutes of your name being announced, or another name will be drawn

Sounds like this has been a disaster based on social media posts.

I'm currently living in CT and am contemplating a move to Vegas. So, to my knowledge no Vegas casinos offer comped rooms to patrons who solely play poker? How generous are the casinos in regards to additional comps such as entertainment, food, etc?

The CT casinos (MS and Foxwoods) have become increasingly stingy. I'm wondering if that's a nationwide trend...

that is correct... comps for food and sundries are listed or well known and reasonably generous. Between a dollar and two dollars an hour.
some casinos require you to get a print out from the cage prior to using the comps, some casinos just use the players card as a source.

Thanks for information. Do casinos offer discounted rates for poker? Furthermore, I was told there are casinos in smaller cities in Nevada that offer comped rooms. Any truth to that?

Any free bets/free slot play off poker?

You should check out Vegas Poker Nomad on YouTube - he's Caesar's Diamond status just from poker and often gets free or very cheap rooms w/resort fees waived for most of the year, and stays in cheap AirBNBs on some weekends otherwise

heading to Vegas next month. I love double board bomb pots. Which rooms offer it at 1/3 and 2/5?

Resorts World used to spread Bomb Pot PLO games every Tuesday, not 100% sure if they do that anymore. Maybe contact them on Twitter (@PokerRoomRWLV) and ask.

I think OP is asking something different. "At 1/3 and 2/5" suggests he plays regularly somewhere the NLHE games include DBBPs.

The PLO games at Aria and Wynn have a DBBP every dealer push, but no more often than that. I don't believe they are even allowed in any low-stakes NLHE on the Strip, but I could be wrong.

correct, I am looking for HE DBBP games and I realize they are usually limited to once on the push.

Got it, sorry for the misunderstanding.

MGM Grand offers them on dealer pushes in their uncapped $1/$2 games, but it's not mandatory - only if the players ask for it.
