I can't speak from the non US perspective, though having seen Mad Max 6 times i find it difficult to believe that austrailians would have problems driving in our country.
Serious side note though -- for a US city vegas is not that bad. I've lived and drove in 8 or 9 major US cities and vegas was probably the easiest to get around. (esp in the summer which is kind of a slower time for tourists)
It doesnt even hold a candle to cities like philly and LA (which off hand i would say are the worst).
Driving on the blvd is slow, but not really tricky providing you give you give yourself plenty of time to get into the lane you need to get into. Ppl drive pretty fast on the highways, but theyre mostly 3 and 4 lanes, so as long as you stay in the right lanes and drive around the speed limit or slightly above, ppl arent going to be that pissed.
