Resorts World is on the Strip the same way as the properties North of it like Circus Circus and Sahara are. You have to cross the same street to get there.

15 minutes walk is about right, but there's little shade, it's not a pleasant walk if it's super hot

im super confused because on google maps it was across a huge intersection not on the strip.

i fiurst assumed I could walk to resorts world from the wynn by the same sidewalk as I did from before Tropicana demolished allll the way down to wynn (have done it multiple times)

seems like all of you saying its walkable so I will do just that, i was just worried that 1) no sidewalk since it woudl run out and b) when I saw that intersection i was like wtf thatsmassive

Its 6 minutes. Tacos Pastor is way better, dont recommend tacos gordo to people lmao. overpriced, worse quality and much quicker service

this isnt even close to being accurate. Encore is 6 min walk to resorts world depending on the lights.

Are you disputing that Resorts World, Circus Circus and Sahara are on the north side of the Strip or that you cross the same road to get to all of them from Wynn?

You can walk all the way to Fremont street if you like to. That's roughly 4.5 miles from Bellagio so probably 3ish from Wynn?

when I google mapped it it made it seem resorts world was 2 blocks off strip

I work right there. It’s very easily walkable btwn encore-RW-FB, w plenty of sidewalks. RW has (and all of them have) an entrance on Las Vegas Blvd.

Probably >6 miles? MGM Signature to Golden Nugget out and back is roughly 10 miles. I've done that a lot of times.

oh WOW thats insane! I walk from tropicana to wynn then back from TI to luxor and thought that was a walk DID NOT know you could walk to fremont. I just always assumed the strip at some point closer down after the wynn just "stopped" having sidewalk

I did that walk as a challenge a few times... stopping and playing craps and roulette along the way.

I wouldn't suggest it in summer time unless it was after sunset. While it's not necessary, it is good to do it with someone as a back up/partner... just in case... once you get past The Sahara, specially at night.

There are several ways to get to downtown... along the strip or you can cut over to Industrial after the Wynn/Circus Circus... or even walk along Western/Highland and visit the strip clubs, shoot machine guns or stop at the Punk Rock Museum.

My last trip at the Aria, they give you $2 an hour for playing. I would use it to order food. Give my players card to a runner, and they'd handle redeeming it and bringing me the food.

Actually this could be useful thread!

In everyone's recent experience, what food comps can you redeem just by giving your player card to the cashier?

In the last few years, this has been my experience as a local:

Stations Casinos:

Brass Fork: Yes
Wing Stop (at the Palace Station): No, needed to get a comp ticket from whoever

Boyd Gaming:

Orleans:

Fuddruckers: Yes

So the correct answer is Caesars Palace. Also acceptable is games at Horseshoe that are marked as Double Comps+Double Tier Credits.

These will get you $2 an hour that goes into your account as Reward Credits, so they can be used at any Caesars property and can be used for food, rooms, and merchandise.

Unfortunately because the comps are so good, the games at Caesars usually suck. And as for the Horseshoe, last I saw they were dropping $6+$2 a hand.

to be fair, having a 30min high hand jackpot is certainly one of the jackpot drops that is "fairest" for short term tourists and close to breakeven-EV and can make sense in a place like vegas. imho
